Randy Captures Three Great Videos

Delaney loves going up the stairs, especially the big flight. The last part of this video is hilarious where she can't quite make it up the last step.

Delaney loves to race into Mia's room to visit. Mia is quite patient, but still has her limits.

Delaney and Mia Part Deux. Delaney is bound and determined to get Mia's tail. She bounces around the bed like a Tasmanian devil to get to it and then tries to bounce herself off the bed. My sweet little wild child.

What you Get When You Mix Delaney, Spaghettios, and Tyson

Ah...the mess. Thank goodness Tyson cleans Delaney's hands and the floor.

On a side note, Delaney has recently been doing something new. When she thinks something is really yummy that she is eating, she puts both of her hands behind her head with her elbows out, says "mmm", and rocks from side to side. While it is really cute, she ends up putting whatever yummy thing she is eating directly onto her hair. Needless to say, her every other bath night has turned into a nightly ritual. She loves bath time though! Maybe she does that mess thing on purpose....

Delaney is not really sure what to think about her Barry White singing dog

St. Patty's Day!!!!

It was a cold rainy day, but the Roberts family were troopers and decided to partake in the festivities. Randy and I ran the 5K race in the morning and did awesome. I ran it in 24:40 and was 245th place out of 1100 something runners. Randy did it in 24:55 and was 267th place. We were so proud of ourselves so we treated ourselves with gyros, mac and cheese, bloomin' onion and beer.

Delaney was a little unsure about the weather so she tried to make a break for it up the stairs in the morning.

She then decided she was super cute in her outfit and was ready to go. (Check out those pink Chucks----so darn stylish)

We went to Grammy's house to drop Delaney off before the run. We decided to take pictures then in case the weather wasn't good enough for us to go to the costume contest.

My shirt says "Is it the beer, or is that a leprechaun on my back?"

Delaney was a little cold outside waiting for the contest.

We made it to the costume contest and won 3rd place!!! I won 3rd place last year when I was pregnant and my shirt said "Leprechaun Inside" and pointed to my belly. We won $25!!! Woo hoo!!!

To warm up, we went to Delaney's Pub and the whole staff basically wanted to kidnap Delaney because they thought she was so cute. The owner of the pub came over and said that if I brought in an 8x10 pic of Delaney with her name and birthdate, he would frame it and put it on the wall. I will be doing that pronto. My little sweetpea is a supa-stah.

Me and Delaney outside of Delaney's with the bagpipers.

Randy decided he wanted to be a leprechaun too.

Cold again Cold again Jiggity Jig

Delaney is now saying "mamama" and is eating everything in sight. That's my girl. She is enjoying watching Wonder Pets on Noggin and is now sleeping more at Daycare. We gave her an old Blockbuster video card the other night and she found a strange bond with it. She carried it with her everywhere and it is her new favorite toy. Who knew?

Delaney's daycare had a circus celebration on Friday. I volunteered to do the facepainting so I didn't get great pictures of the babies. It was so much fun and the kids were adorable.

The infant rooms had a little pool that they sat in. I thought that was hilarious. They loved it.

Nana came over on Friday and Delaney played with her for a little while. She loves giving Nana those big cheesey grins.

Bathtime continues to be one of Delaney's favorite times. She likes standing at the tub beforehand and banging on the side.

Delaney loves her bath book and her little farm animal squirty toys.

Zoo Outing

I forgot to state in my earlier posts that I went to the zoo on Friday with Delaney, Maxie, and her boyfriend Ryan. I didn't have the camera because Randy had it with him at work that day. Maxie got some pictures so hopefully I will be able to add them later. Here was some highlights:
1) The farm---Delaney fed the goat and loved it when he slurped her hand with his tongue. She then proceeded to bang him on the head and he didn't mind a bit. She attempted to do the same thing to the cow but he spit on us. Delaney had a large chunk of green lettuce that landed on her face. It was actually quite amusing.

2) The gorillas---We went to see them being fed and the huge gorilla caught the head of lettuce like a football. Delaney was jumping up and down and kept clapping in excitement.

3) The lorikeets---This exhibit you can walk through with a small cup of nectar and the lorikeet birds come and land on your head and arms to drink the nectar. I was holding Delaney in one arm and I had about 4 birds on the other arm. I was slightly nervous but Delaney just stayed calm and watched all of the birds. It was great.

Delaney really loved the zoo and I hope to take her a lot soon. Maybe she will be the future primatologist that I always wanted to be!

The SAWWWS go to a wedding

The SAWWWS went to Jen's wedding on Saturday night. Kim is displaying the PB & J koozie in this pic.

Don't Seena and Monica look fabulous?

Kevin and Kim are not really sure about the pink Smurf cake.

Kim and I wanted to document the crappy broken chair inside the bathroom at Wildewood Country Club. With the money that people spend to be a member, can't they at least have nice chairs? Sheesh.

Ann got silly at my house after the wedding. I think it was the large amount of wine we had. Pecos Bill!

Spring is Here!

Randy and I delivered fliers in our neighborhood for Randy to do home repairs to make some extra money. He got a call from a sweet old lady down the block and she has so much work for him to do to keep him busy year round. Randy's first job was to build a brick walkway. He and Dave built it and it looks fabulous!

Delaney and I played outside this weekend because the weather was gourgeous.

Randy and I went bowling on Friday night with Trey, Lyle, Aaron, and Audrea. Randy bowled a 164 one game and I bowled 114 one game. We had a blast!

Me, Aaron, and Gumby...I mean Audrea. Check out those arms!

You can't tell from this picture, but I got crafty making Delaney a hat. It says her name on the front in rhinestone letters. She loves it.

Hand Thingy

Delaney just started doing this funny new thing with her hand. She is totally entertained by it.

Little Miss Thing

I just had to add one more pic of my sunshine smiling. I love her so.

Leapin Lizards!

Delaney and I were supposed to go to the zoo on Friday with English and her kids Drew and Eliza. Because it rained, we went to Leapin Lizards instead which is an indoor play world for kids. Delaney was free because she is a non-walker which was an extra bonus. She really had fun. Here is Drew playing in a structure he built.

Eliza is too fast to capture on film.

Delaney loved this little ball at Leapin Lizards. She had to steal it away from some little boy who was hogging it. That's my girl.

Delaney finally has enough hair to wear little bows. She looks very ladylike here with her bow stuffing noodles in her face.

Delaney shows off her little teeth and snot pouring out of her nose. She was just wearing a onesie and shoes and thought she was Little Miss Thing in her outfit strutting around. This smile is just priceless....

Delaney at Leapin Lizards

Delaney was a little unsure about the inflatable bouncy thing at first, but then she loved it.

Delaney and her favorite book

Delaney loves this book "Quack Quack" so much. We read it when she eats. I didn't get to finish reading it to her here because my cell phone starts ringing. That is why she gets a confused look on her face near the end.
