Christmas 2012

The girls are excited about their present from Santa.
The scooters from Santa were a definite hit. The girls rode them inside because it was cold and raining on Christmas.

My pretty princess Jasmine. This was one of the presents requested from Santa---along with the "Loops and Swoops" car ramp thingy that you see in many pics.

Because Delaney got a new princess outfit for Christmas, Maya insisted on putting on her Snow White costume. She got a kick out of opening presents this year.

Grammy was there on Christmas morning which always makes the girls, and me, very happy.

Trying to capture the two munchkins with their Christmas dresses on.

This one is pretty good!

Delaney shows her true gratitude to "Belle" for giving her a subscription to Princess Magazine and Maya sings a little Rapunzel.

Maya was very very excited this Christmas.

Ann sent the girls Bitty Baby outfits and matching clothes for them. The girls immediately raced upstairs to get their Bittys and got dressed. They were beside themselves.

Maya was so happy that her and Bitty matched!

Oy----Delaney got a makeup kit.

And this is the result. The Joker.

The award for best Christmas present goes to Hello Kitty Microphone. Here Delaney is with half of her pajamas on, Christmas Barbie makeup on her face, belting it out to Over the Rainbow. Maya is a bit mystified by it all but this present has basically been used non-stop since Christmas.
Giving Tyson his new Christmas animal.

Randy got the girls new Gabba hats. Delaney got Muno....

....and Maya got Plex.

I know this is awful...but I have been getting sentimental about Mia lately. She is still eating and drinking well but her fur is really knappy and she isn't cleaning herself as well. She gets in the shower with me in the mornings to drink the water and she still sleeps in between me and Randy every night. She is 17 years old, and doing quite well for a geriatric kitty, but it makes me sad because I know little Mia isn't doing as well as she used to. I have been taking lots of pictures of her lately. :)

It didn't take long for Maya to figure out her new scooter.

A little scooter ride in the house.

Nana came over and read to Maya for a while.

We watched A Christmas Story with Grammy after we ate a yummy Cincinnati Chili for dinner.

Delaney and her BFF Mia.

Love this one. These two really love each other.
