Happy Memorial Day

Nana and Grammy came over to celebrate the afternoon with some grilling and playing, and obviously bubbles.

The girls entertained us after dinner with a lovely dance performance to some Disney princess tunes.

Experimenting with fun camera features while the girls chilled with their blankies. Maya has to have her blankie all the time too like her big sis. She also has a bunny---well actually she has two. It is funny because Maya calls words that end with "y" more of an "ing" so "sunny" is "sunning" and her bunny is "bunning". I don't correct her. I know she will talk correctly some day, along with her sister the "mugick" queen, but for now is it pretty darn cute.

Two little Minnies just being silly. Nutty bought them these matching shirts and my friend Cathy had brought over the ears a couple of months ago that were leftovers from her daughter's birthday party. It was a perfect match!!!!!

After swim lessons, Callie's parents Cheryl and Curtis stayed over to cook out and little Charlie was there too. Callie used to be in Delaney's class, she is younger so still in the 2's class, but they have remained friends through dance/soccer/swimming. Charlie is in Maya's class. We had a great time with everyone and all of the kids had a blast.

Girls on the River

It was a beautiful day so I took the girls for a walk at the Riverfront Park.

It was really fun and Delaney loved walking all along the river. Let's do it again soon girls!!!

Summer is officially here!!!

The previous owners of our new house left this fabulous little pool boat and Maya just loves it. She says "boat" and loves spinning around in the pool. She definitely is a little fearful of the water at this age, not like Delaney who was a water baby, but she is getting better.

Gotta have that fly swatter to be prepared to kill bugs at any minute.

In case you're wondering, Maya's bathing suit was bothering her and she just pulled it down to her waist and left it like that. We didn't find the need to fix it---love a cute little half naked baby.

Even though not great shot of me...I realize that I am rarely seen on the blog because I am always behind the camera. I figured when I am 74, I would like to see what I looked like, squinty baggy eyes and all.
