Soccer, Football Avoidance, and Nutty's Birthday

Being on the team bench is almost as much fun as playing!

On the field!

Well she's not a soccer superstar yet, but she does enthusiastically run with the pack.

The doodle bug Delaney during her game.

Running towards the goal....

...closer...

....closer...

...and GOAL!!!!!!!

Delaney totally rocked her game. It is amazing what a year makes for soccer. And actually a better team. Her last year's team was good but this team is all girls and they are all friends and that makes a world of a difference. Delaney is LOVING playing.

Randy went to the football game so I took the girls to Edventure. We actually went to see the butterflies but they were mostly  gone due to it being at the end of the season but we enjoyed our trip anyway. It was practically empty because of the football game. Awesome!!

Another football avoidance---a trip to Dunkin Donuts. These little girls outings we have just make my world totally and completely happy.

Delaney was randomly dressed in a sweater, Jasmine necklace and flower headband...

....and Maya with her popsicle pajamas and mask.

We went out the next night to celebrate Nutty's birthday at Za's.  An interesting present was a bejeweled pill case.

Delaney and her Grammy.

Maya and her Nana.

Nutty's great present from Stan---biggest box of Hot Tamales ever.

And of course a cake! We got the leftovers and it was the best Publix chocolate Ganache cake ever.

Boosterthon Fun Run 2014

Mrs. Neely's class enters the tunnel for the Fun Run.

Truly the world's best fundraiser for schools. The Boosterthon "Rock" Team enters the school for a week and the team leaders talk to the kids about positive attitudes, anti-bullying and just basically being better kids all around. The kids raise money for $1 per lap or how ever much per lap you want to give or give a flat donation. This was Delaney's second year doing it and we knew she would run 35 laps again. She was the top fundraiser for the first grade and got awesome prizes and truly loved collecting the money for her school. Much better than selling wrapping paper. For those who scoffed about people giving money and not getting anything in return.....you gave to my daughter's school which means a lot...but most of all you gave my daughter Delaney so much happiness. She LOVED the fun run. Exercise and positive attitudes mean a lot. THANK YOU!!!!

Maya got a ride from her daddy.
