Our two little Gamecock girls. Maya was wearing her gear but wasn't really happy because Auburn won.
We had a little birthday celebration with the fam for Randy's birthday. For one of his presents, I got him a 2010 College World Series baseball signed personally to him for his birthday by Ray Tanner. It turns out that Coach Tanner goes to the same hairdresser as me, the infamous Troy. Troy bumped my appointment time back one day and it turns out it was for Coach Tanner. Coach Tanner is the nicest man and didn't mind at all signing the baseball for Randy. Randy was SO happy and loved his present.
Grammy and her new love.
The girls just love their daddy.
A little smile.
Waving hello.
Sleeping during our daily walk.
Close up with Maya.
Here is a series of close-up Maya pics. I love capturing all of her facial expressions.
Happy after a diaper change.
My comedian child with a pair of underwear on her head.
My friend Jessica came by to visit and meet Maya. She brought both of the girls snuggly blankies that she had knitted with their initials knitted into them. They are so soft and gourgeous!!
The shit-eating grin and the Stones girl. Gosh I love them both.
**This first week has been amazing. Delaney is doing remarkably well with her little sister and besides the typical 2-year old normal tantrums, is acting even better than usual. Maya is a good baby, but definitely needier than Delaney ever was. She likes to be snuggled and carried a lot which is sweet, but sometimes hard. We are still trying to figure out her sleeping. Maya is not particularly fond of her bassinett right now and prefers to sleep either in her swing, bouncy seat, or mommy or daddy's chest. Hopefully we will have her on a good sleeping schedule soon!!!

The first week at home with Miss M
Some initial observations about our new angel:
1) She has the world's most perfectly round head. Do I thank my OB for that?
2) Maya has the nickname "Snuggle Bear" already because not only does she love to sleep---but she loves to snuggle.
3) Maya becomes much more alert when either her daddy or big sis is around.
4) If Maya is sitting in your lap and facing outwards, she will crane her neck back to hear/"see" what is behind her. It is really cute.
When we got home from the hospital Randy took an opportunity to get in a quick nap with the little one. He always said that he never took advantage enough of taking naps with Delaney (even though I have pictures that say otherwise:)) so he is going to work harder this time.
Olive welcomes Maya home with a kiss.
Maya's pretty coming home outfit.
Delaney sees Maya at home for the first time.
Delaney already loves kissin on her little sister.
Nana loves hanging out with her two girls. Delaney looks a little evil in this pic. She HATED Randy and I for the first couple of days back home...especially me. It was truly heart breaking. She loved Maya though which was wonderful.
Where did everybody go?
The three girls with Delaney continuing to perfect my grin.
Randy's work sent this delicious edible fruit arrangement. The chocolate covered pineapple was my favorite.
Randy and his girls.
All curled up in pajamas. I like the Elvis look of these---I wonder if there could be themes in the future because of her name? Mom--don't get too excited. I am warning you....:)
All snuggly after her first bath. Randy and I videotaped it for posterity's sake but I won't be posting it. Maya didn't enjoy it that much because it was just a spongebath until her cord falls off.
I tried repeatedly to turn this pic the right way but it didn't work. If you turn your head exorcist style then you can see Maya looking really cute.
The super awesome big sister with her new best friend. Or at least we hope. At the hospital I think Delaney was expecting someone a little bigger to be there. We had talked so much about "Maya her sister" that I think Delaney thought it would be a little 2-year old friend she could play with. She was disappointed, but now is loving the role of big sister and helper to Mommy.
Tyson loves a little sprinkler action.
We wondered why the sprinkler kept moving on us---we found our criminal.
Kel-Z sent this cool bling bling USC hat for Maya.

The rest of the time at the hospital
Randy chills with Maya in his "bed" at the hospital.
A somewhat confused look.
Proud Bubba and his new granddaughter.
Nonna loved her some Maya. She mentioned kidnapping her way too many times though. Should I be nervous?
Larr and Joe were so excited to meet their new grand goddaughter.
Asleep after all of the excitement.
Leaving the hospital!!!
