New Year's Eve!

A little dancing fun before our guests arrive. We have done many New Years Eve's with the Crosby family and we decided that this year all of them would come over for food, drinks, and fun! And to be safe they all spend the night.

Our spread. We went a bit overboard with food for just four adults and four kids (and for a short time our friend Scott and his girlfriend Chandler) but we like it like that. Shrimp, fondue, chicken fingers, fruit and veggie trays, dips, brownies, etc....

After the kids went to bed we played some games and got a little silly. I went upstairs to get some New Years Eve accessories such as crowns and beads and I came back down with these wigs.

Happy New Years!!!!! Bring it 2014! 2013 was a great year so I am really excited what the next year has in store for us. I am sure many more wonderful things!!!

Dancing Girls

A little day after Christmas dancing with Delaney in her new jazz outfit that she wears pretty much ALL the time.

The girls dance to the Kidz Bop version of Miley' Cyrus Party in the USA. I, of course would let them dance to the original because I love Miley. Anyhoo--Delaney is wearing her new jazz outfit she got for Christmas and the girls are taking turns dancing. Some serious Flo Rida dancing. I must say that the hair moves make me a little nervous because I have no idea where she sees that unless it is on Nick Jr. or a Disney movie because that is all she watches. The girls doing Roar again. It is a daily occurrence....minus this step on hand injury at the end.

Merry Christmas 2013!!!!!!!!!!!

Darn fuzzy camera christmas morning. Didn't capture Delaney on video when she was running into the front den and then got fuzzy pics. Oh well...here is the Doodles with her "bed tent" or "tent bed". She requested this from Santa. Randy thought she meant an actual tent that goes on her bed but I know what every little girl desires---a canopy for their bed. I was right.....Delaney loved it!!!!

Santa also brought the girls hanging butterflies to place in their rooms.

Delaney also requested a microscope from Santa and here it is along with a lot of pre-made slides with yucky stuff (rabbit testes, dog liver) to look at!!

Maya was a little late upon arrival Christmas morning---we had to wake her up! Delaney had already seen her Santa presents (bed tent, microscope) so this was Maya's first glimpse. Randy, who tends to record for too long of durations, captured a lot of morning. Sweet Delaney wants to open it all. :)

We had to wake Maya up at 7:45 because Delaney was going crazy waiting to really start Christmas!!! Maya immediately put on all of her Merida attire she got.

New Christmas dress!

Maya was eating her Kit-Kat's found in her stocking so I told her to take her new pajama top off to not gooey it up with chocolate. She then wanted to pose with all of her new presents. Here is the Pete the Cat button book that seriously was her favorite Christmas present! My button, my button, I still have my belly button!!!

Tim the Minion was something I had to get Maya because she thinks the Minions are hysterical. It is really funny making all kinds of silly Minion noises.

Lots of matching Christmas dresses poses. I will say that not only did Maya sleep in today, she also took a 3 1/2 hour nap....waking up right before dinner. Christmas is exhausting!!!
