Happy New Year 2014!!!!

We celebrated New Years Eve with a big dinner and spend the night party with our friends Steve and English and their kids Drew and Eliza. Other party and sleep-over guests were their friends Steve and Megan and their kids Ella and Mia. It was a great night!

Happy New Year everyone!!!!! The kids lasted until 10:30 even though we tried to start putting them to sleep around 9:30. I lasted until 11:30. Phooey on midnight----maybe I will see you next year!!!!

After Christmas Fun

I would just like to preface this post by saying that the pics are out of order and that is making my OCDness crazy but because I am so far behind on posting (it is April) and my new photo uploading software pisses me off and I don't know how to fix it and blah blah blah....I have to let it go. Let it go!!!!! Anyhoo----all the pics are from a three day span they are just a little scrambled. Here is Delaney with her Bitty Baby and matching outfit from Ann. So super cute.

I got to see my SAWWWS girls for our annual holiday fun get-together. We have decreased in numbers because of moves and busy schedules but still manage to get a couple of us together every year. Here is Monica in town from NYC with big grape.

We went to go ice skating with the Gambrell family but the outdoor rink was wet from earlier rain so we didn't get to go. Because we were ready for some fun, we went to a hotel bar and the kids got cake and the adults got drinks. We are super classy. Maya and Jake thought it was great.

The next day it was better ice skating conditions so we went with the Gambrells and gave it another try. Maya was doing quite well walking around on the skates.

Delaney actually got the hang of it a little bit this year....going slowly but not requiring as much assistance and not whining. :)

I wish I had captured a video of Maya "skating". She had to hold either me or Randy's hand and she would spin around and go "whoa whoa whoa whoooooaaaa" and then hysterically laugh in that way that makes everyone around her laugh and then go spinning around and fall down. And then laugh again. She was hysterical.

I know it is fuzzy but the ice even made fearless Jake quite scared.

Trying to get Scott and Raven and the kids in a picture was tough. Not only were they all moving, my camera phone sucking, and me trying to stay still on ice skates made it nearly impossible. I tried guys!!!!
