Video of Delaney's Halloween Parade

Until I figure out how to do it another way, check out this You Tube video from a parent in Delaney's classroom. It is of the Halloween parade. It is ridiculously long, but at least check out the first minute or two. Really cute.

Mr. Stay Puft attacked Columbia

For those of you who don't know, I have a mild obsession with Mr. Stay Puft from Ghostbusters. I took a pottery class a couple of years ago and we were supposed to make a water pitcher with like a floral theme or something. I kept thinking mine resembled Mr. Stay Puft---and so it was. Then, my dear sweet husband bought me an original Mr. Stay Puft doll for Valentines Day this year. Then, I decided that Delaney HAD to be Mr. Stay Puft for Halloween. It was the best costume ever.

Delaney poses with the Mr. Stay Puft doll.

Delaney was so exhausted from getting costumed up that she immediately fell asleep.

Delaney dominates her friends in her class. Libbie the cow, Will the bee, and Sarah Beth the ladybug are cowering underneath Mr. Stay Puft.

Delaney's daycare did a Halloween costume parade. The 4 babies in the class rode in the wagon for the parade.
It was honestly the cutest thing I have ever seen.

Delaney and I went to Becky and Stephanie's house to visit on Halloween. They were so excited to see her.

While Monica plays with Delaney, Stephanie takes the opportunity to steal Delaney's hat. She has a problem with that....

Kathie came over to visit on Halloween night.

The whole Ghostbusters family. Randy was Spengler and I was the Gate Keeper.

Grammy came over to babysit and Randy and I went to our friend Aaron and Audrea's house for a Halloween party. It was awesome!!!! There was a haunted maze you went through in the front yard that was much better than the Haunted House we paid money for!!! Every inch of their house was decorated and they even had a graveyard set up in their backyard. Here is Audrea as the cutest little "China Cat Sunflower".

The only week where Delaney is allowed to wear orange

This week has been filled with various costumes and fancy Halloween attire. Delaney loves to be festive for a holiday.

Jessica brought over Delaney's new hat that she made her. It's sort of like Little Orphan Annie gone rasta.

Slip Slidin' Away

Davis had his sixth birthday party this weekend and Dave and Mandi rented him one of those big inflatable jumpy/slide things. Davis had a blast and kept doing the slide over and over again. Here he is doing one of his stunts---going backwards and on top of his head.

Sorry about the fuzzy picture--but I just had to capture Delaney and her Daddy on the slide. Delaney was very calm during her 2 trips down. She is quite the daredevil.

Delaney loves her Unka Dave. She is quite fond of his goatee and grabs at it and laughs. I personally think Delaney thinks Dave is some kind of a big animal because she is fascinated by him. She loves his whiskery kisses that just make her squeal and squeak.

When I was little I had these 2 cats, Romeo and Sylvester, that I loved to play dress up with. Romeo was very tolerant of being put in dresses and costumes. I am so glad my daughter is tolerant of this type of fun too. She LOVED the lion hat that I put on her and kept it on for about an hour while she played.

ROAR

No, Nana...it's not real. Delaney shows off her hard core side with an "I LOVE MOM" bicep tat.

On Saturday night, Delaney was being really snuggly and silly and as I was holding her, she decided to eat my face. Randy and I were dying laughing.

The Roberts go to Rockville

Randy, Delaney, and I went to Rockville Friday night to stay with Randy's mom and Jack. We went to see Boo Boo (Randy's grandmother) and her husband George because they had traveled in from Mobile, Alabama. Boo Boo was so excited to meet Delaney, especially since Delaney's first word was "Boo" a couple of weeks ago and we had called Boo Boo and had Delaney talk to her on the phone. Now...Delaney hasn't said it since, but that's okay. It was a big family event in Rockville with Dave, Mandi, Davis, Morgan, Aunt Cheri, and George's daughter Natalie.

Davis, Delaney, and I pose while playing. Davis was soooo cute as usual and really loved spending time with me and Delaney. He was such a big helper.

Now, Davis might be smart as a whip but he needs to work on his photography skills. He cut off a bit of Randy's head during this picture with Randy's mom.

Assorted family members with Boo Boo in blue in the middle. I think we caught the last gourgeous weather night that SC will have until the spring. At least on my terms. I am a bit cold when it is under 70 degrees.

Davis really enjoyed taking pictures while we were there. Thank God for digital cameras.

Davis, Morgan, and Delaney play with the two daddies. It is so cute seeing these two big grown men on the floor playing with the kids.

Juliet Turns a "Charming" 32 and Delaney becomes more Independent

Have you ever seen more beautiful eyes?
Delaney has been holding her bottle by herself for about a week now. She is such a big girl.
I still get so excited when I am opening birthday presents. Here is me opening my big-time gift certificate for Randy and I's favorite restaurant, Mo Mo's.
Which one is the Glow Worm and which one is Delaney?
