Jessica's curl hats

Jessica had made Delaney an orange curl hat and she now made some more hats in various shades. She wanted Delaney to model them for pictures so she can sell them online. I think they are fabulous.

Here is Delaney in part of her pre-birthday outfit from Grammy. She is wearing the headpiece and wings here---the tutu was not donned for this pic.

Delaney and Quaggle

Delaney loves her Quaggle bear so much

Playing and talking and talking and playing

I just wanted a good video of Delaney playing and babbling. I want to capture every precious moment.

Delaney at the gate

Delaney stands at her gate pretty often. It totally defeats the points of having a gate. Banging on it is pure joy to her.

Passover at Nutty's

One of Delaney's favorite things to do is say "duh" and play with her duck hanging on the door. Entertainment for hours.

All dressed up

Me and Delaney. The ceremony was really nice but shorter than usual. Delaney was quite perfect and enjoyed everything. I think she thought we were all talking to her when doing the service. She talked right back and tore up some chicken, matzo balls, and sweet potatoes.

Delaney dons a yamulke.

Delaney gets excited after finding the affikoman and winning her dollar prize.

Nutty gave Delaney some macaroons with Cool Whip. Nutty put the Cool Whip on her finger and almost lost her finger when Delaney wanted to bite it off.

April is Here

This week started off a little rough but then got better. Delaney was teething bad at the beginning of the week and was cranky. When I went to pick her up from daycare they basically shoved her out of the door. Now, they love Delaney and all, but they weren't used to her being in such a bad mood. I asked my friend Connie, who is a nurse, what to do to help Delaney. She suggested Motrin. Well Motrin is magic. It was like a night and day difference and the daycare staff was so appreciative. After that one dose, and four top teeth popping through, she was cured.

We also celebrated Mom's birthday this week on April Fools. It was Chinese takeout at our house with Mom and Nana. Nana picked the food up and the food was delicious but it turns out she picked it up from this ghetto Chinese place in a bad part of town. It is so funny picturing my grandmother going into this place that I would be WAY too scared to even enter. The food was awesome though.

Delaney makes some calls on my phone.

Delaney plays with one of her new favorite toys---the top to a pot. She loves pushing it around the kitchen floor where it makes a fabulous noise. Could you detect the sarcasm there?

The girls pose.

We went to Newberry to celebrate my friend Jessica's daughter Lorelei turning one. Grammy and Nutty made the trip with us and we had so much fun.

Lorelei is all dolled up to celebrate her big day.

Jessica's little lookalike is so precious.

Delaney and Lorelei were so cute playing together.

Lorelei gets ready to eat her cake. She was so funny with it. She methodically picked at the same part of the cake and was very dainty with it.
