Pumpkins. Hats, and the Last Pool Day of 2010

I think this was taken around 38 weeks. I don't know...just call me "The Great Pumpkin".

Delaney was playing in her room and went and put on her pink snow hat. I asked her to find some more hats for me and Randy to wear. This is what she came up with. Aren't we attractive???

Delaney loses her fear of jumping into the pool.

At the end of the summer, Delaney shows off her skills she learned for the past couple of months. Good kicking and no fear of zipping around the pool. She also finally got over her fear of putting her face in the water to blow bubbles. Yay Delaney!!!

Happy Labor Day 2010!!!

On Labor Day The Roberts fam took out our friend Jackie's boat to Lake Murray for a day of fun, sun, and fishing. Delaney took to the lake/boat/etc...immediately and was right at home.

Delaney loved sitting in the seat zooming around the lake in the boat.

Practicing her boating skills.

Delaney had no problems with jumping right in that murkey lake water. It felt really good and she liked spotting the turtles nearby.

Daddy and Delaney enjoying some peanuts (roasted and boiled---D's new favorite) for a little lake snack.

Doin' a little fishing---Delaney liked to play with the worms but she wasn't really too helpful to the fishing cause as she kept throwing them into the water.

The girls riding in the back of the boat.

Randy lets Delaney actually take the wheel for a little bit---we were going really slow, I promise.

We ran into a big gaggle of geese and Delaney shared some of her goldfish with them.

A goldfish for you, a goldfish for me. Delaney feeds the ducks at the lake.

Style

Delaney is such a princess at school...I go to pick her up and her hair always looks better than how I did it that morning.

The 2's teacher for the other room, Mrs. Tami, always likes to style Delaney's hair and she did this fabulous do one day.

Randy says that I have ghettofied our child with some of my choices in clothing. This shirt is the BOMB! Yes---the gold chain is a part of the shirt. And I love a little RUN DMC. What's up "My Adidas"?

While at Babies R Us buying a new monitor we ran into this little guy who just cracked us up and of course we had to buy it. The girl at the cash register said that all of the workers play with them after they close. I would too. For hours.

DON’T FALL ASLEEP

DON’T FALL ASLEEP

Okay---done now. My ridiculous giggling over this stuff is getting too obnoxious. This is the best stuff ever.

Baby Jones Locker

Holy Moly...another one....
This stuff is fantastic!!!

I Got the Hook Up

I Got the Hook Up

OMG. I saw this and the granola bar that I was eating totally came out of my mouth I was laughing so hard. Regretsy is the shizzle.

Summer is coming to an end...:(

Because it has been so hot this summer, Randy and I haven't been the best of parents and haven't taken the dogs for very many walks. That is why we let them swim. It makes us, and them, feel much better.

35 weeks---not bad clothed and from this angle....

...AAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......

There was a Water Festival at Riverfront Park and Delaney and I went to check it out---especially because Randy had a booth there for the day for his work. It was a neat festival with everyone giving out awesome water bottles and they were doing kayak and canoe trips on the river. Delaney took an opportunity to have a snack in the shade of her stroller.

Here is Randy and his booth at the water festival. He was such a professional and there were lots of people stopping by to hear what he had to say. It was a little bit hot there in the sun but he was a trooper.

D and her daddy checking out the river.

At the booth next to Randy's they were doing face painting.

Delaney got a cool fish.

Can't remember if I have mentioned or shown it before, but this is Delaney's seat when she watches movies in her playroom. Yes---it is a fancy dog bed that we originally bought for Olive but the prima donna of dogs refused to get in it. Because it is quite plush---Delaney scoped it out and with the right pillow and blanket...it really is quite comfortable. Don't be hatin'. Whatever works.

I love how Delaney sometimes gets confused when she sings songs. She really is the ultimate comedian. Love her.
