Lorelei's 3rd Birthday Party and a little Maya in the Sun

My friend Jessica's daughter Lorelei was celebrating her third birthday with a Tinkerbell party at a gymnastics center in Chapin. It was an awesome facility where the kids could just run and jump and swing, etc....Delaney loved swinging on the ropes like a little monkey.

Delaney swinging like a monkey at Lorelei's party.

Instead of ball pits there were giant holes filled with these big soft foam things. The girls loved it.

Delaney loved jumping in the pit with soft foam thingies. I hate that I didn't capture when she actually jumped in from her feet. I am hoping this helps her with jumping into the pool this summer.

It is always impossible to get a picture of Lorelei and Delaney together so here is the best I got. Delaney was so cute on the way to the party. She has a little bit of a hard time saying her "l's" and she kept trying to say that Lorelei was her best friend and it just came out like "Llllll" is my best friend. Precious. The two of them were like little peas in a pod at the party.

While Delaney was napping, I took the opportunity to spend a little time with my sweet non-napping child. It was a beautiful day and Randy was working on our "pool" so Maya and I joined him outside to play with toys in the sun.

TRUMPS Bike Day 2011

The girls' daycare had their annual bike day. It is a fun affair where all of the kids ride around the parking lot for an hours on their bikes, wagon, etc....They go around in a loop and just have a blast. Delaney has had a bit of a hard time figuring out her bike and sometimes likes to push with her feet or just be pushed around.

Getting a little push from daddy on her bike at the beginning of bike day at daycare.

Maya loved her first bike day.

Maya rides in her wagon at bike day at daycare.

Delaney takes off on her own at bike day.

Delaney decided to take the easy way out and ride for a little while with Maya.

Then she decided to show off her muscles and pull the wagon for a while.

Delaney's little friend Abby was so cute with her helmet and gear.

A little switch up. Delaney tries on Abby's helmet and rides her bike with one of her favorite people in the world her teacher Miss Maritza watching.

Delaney definitely liked Abby's bike and gear a lot.

Too cool for school.

Disney On Ice

Mom and I took Delaney to see Disney on Ice at the Colonial Center. I was a little unsure about how it was going to be but it was actually awesome!! Delaney was mesmerized and loved seeing all of her favorite characters come to life and sing the songs that she loves so much.

Mickey and Minnie

Woody and Buzz

**The funniest part of the evening: At intermission the zamboni came out to clean the ice and Delaney said "Look at the firetruck". I didn't really correct her but just moved on. At the end of the show, the three of us were talking about how much we loved it and we asked Delaney what her favorite part was. She said "the firetruck". Of course she did.

TRUMPS School Picnic 2011

Every year the girls' daycare does a school picnic during the Week of the Young Child on the playground. Chik-fil-A is served and once again it was a beautiful day and everyone had a blast.

Sarah Beth joined us this year on the blanket because her parents couldn't attend.

Maya is obviously really enjoying her first school picnic.

Chewing on a straw--might not be the safest but it helps my little drooling/teething one.

Cute little girls in the sun.

Check out the matching shirts on the Roberts girls. "Madonna--Who's That Girl World Tour 1987" Thank you again Kim Harne!!!

Delaney wandered around for a little bit after finishing her lunch and kept coming back with bags of chips. I think our child was stealing chips!!! I hope we do not have a future lunch thug happening. No---lunch thugs were never as cute as my little D.

Sisters with Poolkies

Check out the thighs. Little Maya has the cutest little head and then these enormous thighs. Love to squeeze them.

The church where the girls go to daycare has the most beautiful tulips. Check out the t-shirts homemade by my good friend Miss Kim. Love you!!

My little one has become mobile--only in the wrong direction.

Little Maya scooting backwards again.

Burgers and beautiful days

My dream has come true. A fast food restaurant (Hardee's) is finally serving a turkey burger. Randy brought us some yumminess home and I tried it out. I think this is the first time in my life I have had a "burger" from a fast food restaurant. Delish.

Sweetness. I love my girls so.

I love that now we can play a lot outside not only because it is warm and gourgeous, but because Maya is sitting and loving it outside. We just bring out a blanket and a bag of toys and we are all sit. Delaney searches for bugs or swings and Maya just sits and plays. It is so much fun.

Fun fun fun

Little spaghetti face

It took a while--but Delaney finally knows her full name. Now she states it all of the time.

A handsome pic of my hubby.

It's the same smile on two different faces.

Maya went from sitting up as a weeble wobble to independently sitting all of the time. She loves to sit and play next to her toy basket and pull everything out.

Daddy is always #1 to Miss D.

Love this face.

Playing in the ball pit.

Delaney acts like she is blowing up a ball while Maya voices her concerns about the situation.
