Two times a year I go to the Tot Trade which is a HUGE consignment sale for baby and children's items including clothes, shoes, toys, and big stuff like strollers. I volunteer for 4 hours at the register and if you volunteer you can shop early which is a big bonus because then you don't have to shop in the crowd and you get all of the good stuff. I basically scored with Delaney getting a whole summer wardrobe, new toys for her birthday, and my big item which was a Sit-to-Stand stroller for the two Roberts kids to ride in while walking the dogs and other fun activites. Yay for Tot Trade!
When I left the Tot Trade sale there were rocking horses close to the register. It was like a pack of gum at the grocery store---way too tempting not to buy on the way out. Well...the smile on Delaney's face when she rode on it for the first time was priceless.
Delaney likes to gather all of her toys and sit in Olive's bed and play with them all.
We went to a USC Baseball game on Saturday--we were playing Tennessee. We put Delaney's cheerleading outfit on, packed up the wagon, and were ready to go. It was a gourgeous day and even though we couldn't bring the wagon inside, Delaney did very well. We lasted until almost the 5th inning and the Gamecocks ended up winning. Go Cocks!!!
Look at the wonderment in my child's face upon seeing her hero in person. Now Delaney has several Cocky dolls at home which she loves but the real Cocky?? She was so happy to see him. "Hi Cocky! Hi Cocky! Hi Cocky!" (Repeat 400 times)
High-fives for Cocky
Delaney and I share a super-size popcorn while watching the game.
Delaney made it a point that she HAD to go in the Cocky jump castle. Once inside, she decided just to sit and not bounce a lot.
