Grilling out with some Roberts fam

We had Dave, Morgan, and Davis over to grill out on Friday night.

Maya loves her some peas. She also loves her some devil ducks. As you can see in her left hand there is a very small rubber duck with devil horns. The girls have a duckie themed bathroom at our new house and inside of the bath are about 4,000 rubber ducks of various styles (Mr. T, the Osbourne family, Blues Brother duck, etc...---I kind of had a thing for ducks at some point in my life). Maya loves the 6 devil ducks in various colors. When this pic was taken, she had taken a bath an hour previously and still had the duck palmed in her hand. When that girl likes something--she really doesn't let it go.

A sweet smile from my princess. This has been rare to see lately. Little Laney Loo has had a REALLY hard time adjusting to the new house. She appears fine but tantrums a lot and has been having some poor behaviors. She also has accidents every day at nap time at school which she hasn't done for a while. I know that moving is difficult but she has been taking about the "old house" a lot and it makes me sad. The poor little thing has had a lot of adjustments at one time----moving to new class one week and then moving to new house the following week. We have been trying to show her that our new house is bigger and better with more room to play. I know that this will take some time but it makes me sad that she is having a hard time.
