Boo at the Zoo 2011

A Halloween tradition is going to the Boo at the Zoo. Drum roll please for this year's Halloween costumes: Delaney is Ursula---the mean octopus witch from The Little Mermaid. Even though Delaney dresses like a princess daily she is mesmerized by the Disney villains. Of course you can't buy an Ursula costume so I had to get a little crafty with this one. My little Maya is a Treasure Troll. This one was easy. The sweet thing just looks like one already---we just had to dye the hair.

Riding the animal statues at the zoo is always fun.

Maya is doing much better with walking with one hand. She doesn't make it very far but loves to try.

Maya talks it up in her stroller while Delaney gets really excited about a lollipop.

Delaney is the cutest little Ursula trick or treat I have ever seen. She was so polite when asking for candy. She just strolled right up to the booths and basically winked at them and said "trick or treat" and then had a big thank you. Cute.

We definitely have two children who love to dance. Maya hears even elevator music and starts to dance. I love it.

Delaney shows off some serious moves while dancing to Thriller at Boo at the Zoo. She threw in a little Moonwalking for old time sake.

This was Frankenstein's foam zone which was a huge bubble maker that the kids got to run in. Delaney LOVED it.
