Thanksgiving started out with my annual tradition of running a 5K. It was a little chilly that morning but a gourgeous day. I hadn't run in about a month because of plantar fascitis and a heel spur in my left foot but was determined to run. I have been going to the gym regularly but stayed away from running because of the huge amount of pain I have been in. Even without running for a while, I think I did pretty good. Here are my stats:
142 44/357 415 JULIET ROBERTS 35 F COLUMBIA SC 24:58 8:02
142 out of 645 total.
44 out of 357 girls.
My foot felt great while running but about an hour after the race I was in some serious pain. I have been sleeping in a boot that my mom's friend lent me but I really need to do something else. I don't want to go the rest of my life without running so if anyone has any suggestions please let me know. It is pretty much agony to run now but because I am hard-headed I am sure I will continue. We runners be stubborn.

My mom cooked up some fantastic food like smashed taters, creamed onions and peas, stuffing with pecans, etc.... |

Nana loves playing with her little Maya. |

The fancy table. It really looked beautiful. I love our new house with a dining room where everyone fits. People keep saying---is that a new dining room table? No---you just couldn't see it in our old house. Loved our old house---but really squishy dining room. |

Love moms face here----those two kids just crack her up. |
