Circus Day at TRUMPS 2012

One of the many wonderful things about the girls' daycare is their creativity and activities for the kids. Every year they have "Circus Day" where they decorate the gym at the church and have all kinds of activities for the kids to participate in for an hour. I have been the face painter at the festivities since Delaney started at TRUMPS and I love doing it but hate I can't hang out with my girls more during the fun.

Poor little Maya did not do well with having me be in the same room and not being able to hang out with me. She was crying uncontrollably and a teacher had to be holding her for most of the time she was there. It was breaking my heart! I felt a little tug on my shirt about ten minutes before the Circus was over and Maya was standing there. I let her sit on my lap while I was finishing up doing the face painting. She was actually quite good just sitting there.

Of course my sweet little angel didn't want the traditional girl face painting selections of heart or flowers but she chose a spider.

Yes---she has my tongue.

When we got home that day we made Red Velvet cupcakes with cream cheese icing to celebrate Valentines Day which is next week. I must say that cupcakes are Delaney's first favorite food with edamame coming a close second. The two girls both love edamame and could win an eating contest with those little peas because of how fast they can eat them.

Jessica C.---if you are reading this---this face is for you. This is so your monkey face!!!!
