I think the girls are tired of Randy and I telling them not to drink the dirty bathwater so the geniuses decided to drink out of the faucet. |
We did Easter on Friday because we were going to Charleston for the weekend. The girls woke up and were excited about their egg hunt. |
Little model finding her eggs. |
It took Maya a while to get into the swing of things. |
Then she was off and running.... |
.....and shaking.... |
....and opening.... |
Randy had to help Maya a litle bit because the older sister was quite speedy finding the eggs. |
Eating some chocolate. |
Delaney loved her basket from the EB a.k.a Easter Bunny. |
One of the girls' favorite pasttimes is to race at full speed around the house with a caterpillar on a string. For some reason we have an ungodly number of caterpillars on strings. I guess that is a good thing because they LOVE it. Noisy activity, but a good time.
Nutty had her annual Seder in the backyard with about 30 people. The girls ran in the yard before the service. |
Maya meet matzah. Matzah, Maya. |
Our lovely hostess. |
Delaney loved her some matzah. |
Randy and Kathleen |
Maya reading the Haggadah. Hopefully she learns Hebrew soon so I can finally stop reading the Four Questions. |
This passover the Oscar went to Maya, who was truly hilarious reading out of the Haggadah. Whenever anyone was reading a prayer, whether in Hebrew or English, she would pick up her Haggadah and just read and turn pages and look around to make sure she was the center of attention. I was crying I was laughing so hard---same with everyone else. It was so funny. Her Hebrew was definitely better than mine!
Mom behind the candle with one of her many masks symbolizing the plagues. |
I think this was the beasts one. |
Not sure...but yet another one... |
Fire? |
Ah...locusts... |
uh...slaying of first born??.... |
The pretty Jocelyn as a locust. |

Happy Easter and Passover to all!!!!!!!!
