The Roberts in Cola Town: Happy 6th birthday Delaney!!!!!!

It is pitch black but still wanted to capture it because it is an annual tradition. This is first year that Delaney remembered the tradition and requested that we all do it this year because she really likes it. :) We woke Maya up and did some early birthday singing all three of us.

Upon visiting Delaney's class to bring cupcakes for her birthday I found this little gem outside her classroom. They all did sheets about their mommies. Well she knows my eye and hair color and thinks I am beautiful but she thinks my favorite food is salad. :)

It's cupcake time!!!! Delaney and Maya and I made these little treats to have for a snack on her birthday in her kindergarten class.

On Delaney's birthday I visited her class. I wouldn't be able to go to school the following day for Mother's Day celebration, because I had to work, so the class did a private performance just for me. It was priceless.

The famous Kelly Painter who is the best kindergarten teacher ever and someone I now call a good friend. We all LOVE her and Delaney has flourished in her classroom. There were some behavior issues at the beginning of the year but Kelly whipped them into shape and also provided a nurturing and learning environment. What are we going to do next year without her?????

An exciting Grammy present is coming...

...it's a huge dinosaur that lights up and makes noise. Because we all need one of those.

The whole staff of cicis pizza serenaded Delaney for her birthday. They went over the top and made me love that restaurant. Delaneys smile was priceless.

Delaney was serenaded by the entire Cicis pizza staff and she loved it. The food was delicious and we all ate a ton and it was actually a really pleasant experience. Changed my outlook on Cicis!!!

Two guns Maya??

Opening just a couple of presents at home. This was the wheelchair for her American Girl doll Laney that was what she requested. Nene bought it for her and Delaney was so happy. Strange present request but Delaney is my strange little bird.

Roller skates!!! This was another present request that Randy and I got her. We actually didn't buy them for her but lucked out because my friend Leila had them never worn before. Her grandfather bought them for Sandy and because Sandy is only 4 they weren't appropriate yet. I was apprehensive about buying them so this really worked out. Thank you Leila because Delaney loves them!!!
