Beach Week Day 1

A week at the beach with just us!!! We rented a condo in Garden City that was oceanfront with a pool. It was a small little two bedroom condo but we have never been closer to the beach and had such easy access. We got there about 3:00 and after unpacking we headed right to the beach!

We just got to the beach for the week and both girls already in the ocean. This is a huge step up from last year's trip when it took Maya almost a whole week before she got in!

It was a pretty incredible moon---I forget but it had some cool name. It looked like it erupted out of a cloud. We went for a night walk on the beach and everyone was just staring at it. Delaney had her little Strawberry Shortcake nightdress on and Maya had on her favorite popsicle pajamas and they were just running down in the beach in pure childhood bliss. It is one of those simple memories that will stay in my head forever.
