Another parent observation in the girls' dance classes. I love to see what goes on behind closed doors. Delaney has really become a good little ballerina.
Still hard to do a split though.
Delaney really has become quite graceful and is looking like a real ballerina.
Maya does a little Tapping on Sunshine during her dance class.
A little tapping during parent observation.
Cute little dramatic dancing for Maya.
More Maya on parent observation day.
The girls love helping with the menorah and singing on Chanukah.
The first night of Chanukah brought matching red dresses with matching dresses for their Laney/Sarah American Girl dolls.
And Maya got a rock star doll.
This caused her to be confused because she asked Santa for a rock star Barbie. Grammy-----pay attention to the Santa lists and don't duplicate!!!!!
Third annual Christmas cookie party at the Gambrells! This is such a wonderful tradition that Raven has started for all our "older" girls. I love that the moms and the girls are such good friends and we can do things like this every year. Sally and Ellis cheese it up.
Add in a little Stella for the cheese.
Sarah Beth and Mady
Libbie and Delaney
Delaney's faces a little off here but Sarah Beth is cute with her heart.
Cookie decorating fun!!
Libbie and Delaney take a breather.
Oh the fun of trying to get eight silly girls to get in a picture! Poor Delaney was a little out of sorts, having been sick since October so she is not her usual super silly self.
And we can't forget the moms! These seven ladies have made such a huge impact on my life and I don't know what I would do without them. (I just realized one friend isn't here---poor Caitlin was sick so she was not present).
Delaney's friend Lia.
Delaney at her Christmas party in her classroom. I am the co-homeroom mom and did the planning for this party. We did stations and they were: 1) make a reindeer hat, 2)make bird feeders from Christmas cookie cutters, peanut butter and bread, 3) make Christmas loot bags with lots of stickers, 4) marshmellow snowmen, and 5) Chanukah table playing the dreidel game. Who would have thought I would have been a homeroom mom??
Delaney watched the Polar Express in her pajamas at school and Maya was dressed as Santa for our Chanukah celebration with the fam. So fitting.
Chanukah dinner with the fam. We had chicken and latkes and other stuff which I can't remember already. Yummy though!!
Crazy present time begins!!!!
Nana got the girls owls since they have been slightly obsessed with the Harry Potter movies. We will do the books next. We like to call them HP1, HP2, etc...
Nutty is very happy with her Keurig that mom and I got her.
Mom got kinky boots along with tickets to see Kinky Boots with Nutty.
A sweet bear from Nana.
Stan and his new coat.
Maya and her new guitar from Grammy. She has stated she does not want to learn to play the piano---she wants to play the guitar.
Maya does Jingle Bells singing "Old Mc Farm, it is to ride on a one horse golden sleigh".
The girls are thrilled with their new Bitty Baby stroller they got from Nutty for Chanukah. Randy was a little worried each one didn't go one. How big does he think our house is?
Tyson looking in from the dirty back door. Now it is dirty because Tyson and Olive like to put their grubby faces and paws on it.
Maya's friend Zeke from her class had a Christmas cookie party at his dad's restaurant, Moe's Grapevine. It was awesome with fresh dough set out at every table and cookie cutters everywhere. Moe baked the cookies after they were decorated for everyone to take home. The girls got to wear their pajamas too!!!!
A little jam session on the new guitar.
Maya rocks out on her new guitar she got for Chanukah. Of course we are jamming to Jingle Bells.
Annual Christmas party with the TRUMPS peeps. This year's theme was wearing sparkle. I, of course, had a sparkle "FABULOUS" shirt that I was skeptical about when receiving from my mom but inside I knew it would be good for something. We had a great time with good food and drink and fun card game at the end of the night.
We get a little silly.
Boys and their shooting games....
Another night of Chanukah!! I am eternally grateful that my mom supplies the gifts for the girls for the eight nights. They love their Grammy and her presents!!!
