The Day that will Go Down in Carolina History

This was the second version of the gorilla story but I didn't have the camera to capture the first. Delaney likes to tell stories and make up characters and all of their favorite things. On the first version, Delaney expanded the story into a fantastic version of the "alphabet song". It was quite amazing.

We went out to Trey and Kelli's house to watch the Carolina/Alabama game. I hadn't seen Baby Carson in so long and she was such a big girl sitting up---all beautiful in her Clemson gear!

The two little cheerleaders supporting their teams.

A friendly hug between the rivals.

Maya looking a little ghetto with her USC hat.

Trey and Kelli's friends, Matt and Christy, came over with their daughter Belle who is Delaney's age. The three girls pose in the chair.

Kelli and Maya

Maya didn't wake up for the entire ~4 hours that we were there. I wanted to take a pic of her though so everyone knows she was there to support her team.

Drum Roll Please: For those of you underneath a rock that don't know the end result of the football game---just say the words "35-21". Yes---the Gamecocks beat the #1 team in the country. Who knew? I sure didn't.
