My birthday at the SC State Fair

Randy asked what I wanted to do to celebrate my birthday and of course I wanted to go to the SC State Fair! We dropped Maya to hang out with Grammy and brought Delaney to see the fair in all of its glory. We had to take a pic in front of the "Deep Fried Butter" stand. We did not purchase anything from this stand (our heart is thanking us) but moved on to the Fiske fries with vinegar.

Delaney's first ride was the train.

Delaney rides her first ride at the State Fair.

Delaney and I ride the little zooming cars that actually moved quite fast. Delaney had no fear. We are in the green car.

The petting zoo always has some interesting animals/creatures. Delaney liked the baby donkey.

Delaney picked to ride the pony this year versus the elephant that she rode last year. She felt like such a big girl and kept saying "I love my horse".

The helicopters were another big hit. Delaney definitely loved the rides and was disappointed she wasn't tall enough to ride the "big kid" rides.

Playing with her shadow was almost as much fun as riding the rides.

Delaney and Randy chill for a minute at the "Footsie Wootsie" foot massage stations.

Food Count:
1) Randy, Juliet, and Delaney: all 3 of us split a large fry and elephant ear
2) Randy: items mentioned above plus corn dog, fried mushrooms, and chicken on a stick. I don't want to say piggie but.........

Maya gets her black dress onesie on to party with her giraffe and elephant.
