Day 2

I have no idea what Maya is actually saying but it sounds like she is saying "s__t happens". I agree Maya....it does. :) Delaney shows off her new talent of doing a somersault. She is practicing cartwheels now. I hope she learns how to do one because I never did. :(
I have never seen a child who liked playing in the sand more than Maya. As you see we brought our wagon to the beach---this was honestly the best tool for hauling all our crap--I mean lovely beach tools---every day!

Boogie board man

Helping Delaney learn to boogie board.

Mom catching some rays.

"Maya, where's the sky?"

"There it is!"

Lounging Nana

Building sand castles was the most fun for all of us.

Rinsing and cooling off in the pool after the beach was a big treat.

I love this pic.

Delaney befriended a big cricket on the chair next to her.

The youngest and the oldest enjoy a snack and a chat sitting in their chairs on the beach.

We all walked down to the arcade at Sam's Corner and played some video games. Delaney spotted this trampoline thing and said she wanted to do it. I never thought my little girl would do this---seeing as how she is sometimes afraid of ants and won't go down driveways on her bike. She started jumping on the trampoline way high in the air without a problem and then did flips! It was awesome!! My fearless little four year old....I am so proud.

So glad we did the trampoline thing this night because the next morning they had packed up the rides at  Sam's Corner for the summer. We did it just in time.
