Day 3

The girls break it down.
The girls, minus a sleeping Nana, took an early morning walk on the beach to look for seashells.

Maya chases after the birds on the beach screaming "BIRDS" while Delaney speeds around chasing them in the distance under the pier. These two girls could chase birds for hours.

My pretty girl. I love this picture. She looks so happy!

And then dramatic....

Maya really exploring the ocean for the first time....and loving it...but then discovering it got her wet. :)

After getting her t-shirt wet----the Naked Baby decided this was the better option.

Naked Baby Maya plays in the ocean with her sister.

We brought the little princesses out to make a "real" sand castle fit for a princess and a prince and a beast and a crab....and any other small Disney character we had lying around. The castle looked awesome and there were lots of people stopping on the beach to check it out.

Check out the princesses on top of the castle.

Little Sassy Pants giving her Grammy a bit of attitude. Check out where her sunglasses are. Instead of storing them on top of her head she has been placing them around her waist. So chic.

Delaney spotted a little girl with a boogie board and even though Randy had been trying to get her to do the boogie board with him---she hadn't shown a lot of interest, mostly fear, until she saw this. She instantly wanted to do the boogie board and Grammy "found" her one. I will not go into details on how Grammy obtained the boogie board because I don't want to scar her good name. :)

Delaney tries a boogie board for the first time and does fantastic! The new adventurous doodle bug shows off her boogie board skills.

Which prince is this??

I'm sooooo big!

That night we went to Broadway at the Beach and the girls rode some of the rides. Maya was a little nervous about the carousel which was odd because she has loved all rides before.

Look at that poor little face and holding on the pole for dear life.

Delaney was loving her ride.

Getting a little better.....

Maya's next ride was a lot better. She loved the little speedy cars.

Delaney loved whipping around the track too.

Hugging the big chicken. Why a big chicken there?

Mom took the girls for the train ride.

Delaney got a little balloon parrot on her shoulder.

Hi Mr. Crab!

The catfish in the pond there were a little scary and wanted lots of food. Frightening.

Maya enjoying her first ice cream cone. She actually lost her initial cone and had to eat Grammy's cone, Delaney's cone, and my cone.

Delaney enjoyed her ice cream cone too.

Just had to capture these two faces. Maya doing her little troll face and Delaney in the middle of  a little attitude face.

Delaney loves being a helpful big sister.

A little Bee Gee boogie at Broadway at the Beach.
