Parks, Haircuts, Festivals, and Balls

We took the dogs and girls to Emily Douglas park because it is a great park where we don't have to have the dogs on leashes the entire time. Olive was thoroughly enjoying herself.

I finally decided to get Maya her first haircut. They only trimmed the tiniest bit because I love her long beautiful hair. As I am writing this post about two weeks later her hair has actually grown a lot longer. I guess that's what the first haircut does---gets those strands a growin'!!

Maya also got her first manicure. She selected green for the color. Punk rock Maya.

We went with Grammy to the Viva la Vista festival and Maya got a little Flounder tattoo on her face.

I find the girls often in this position watching a video on my phone.

Maya loves this new birthday toy so much. Hours upon hours of enjoyment. She sings with it all of the time and recites lines. We hear her saying with Rapunzel each time, "This is the best day EVER!"
