Scarecrows and football

Every year the Columbia Historical Society sponsors a contest for people to design scarecrows for their Scarecrows in the Garden exhibit. It is at the Hampton Preston mansion downtown and so beautiful to walk around and look at all of the fun scarecrows. It is an annual treat and we love to go see them!

The Clemson Tiger football player and cheerleader was a big hit as we all took turns looking angry at them.

Delaney of course wanted to give the cheerleader a hug.

Here is big attempt to get the two girls to sit on the steps for a picture. This is a damn near impossible task to not only get them in one place but get them both to do the same thing and smile.

Just trying to show off the new Gamecock twirly skirts my friend Cathy made for the girls. Love them!!!!

Trying again for pics. Solo shots are a little better.

We had a little chocolate treat when we got home.

This is a bit of a dramatic move on Maya's part to not have her picture taken. This was the only thing wrong at the time. Sheesh.

And.....one second later she is okay. Yeah.

Grammy brought over these fabulous new pink boots for Delaney so that called for a bike ride!!

Maya got her some new fringe boots as well.

Bubba came over to watch the Georgia game with us. The girls immediately jumped on his lap.

Gamecock twirly skirt and fringe boots. Football = fashion.
