Disney Trip Day 5

We decided to do Disney transport instead of driving for our second visit to the Magic Kingdom. It took a lot longer but it was an awesome ferryboat trip across with a beautiful view. Delaney matched the Minnie sign at the entrance.

Grammy and Maya waiting to go into the Magic Kingdom with the peppy "Good Morning to You" song. I am now using it to help get the girls up in the mornings.

Cinderella's castle!! Today we did Fantasyland for the most part.

The Dwarfs wall in front of where the Snow White's Mine Train ride will be next year. Randy can't wait to go back and ride it.

The Beast's castle

Randy getting eaten by a Beast.

Riding the classic ride Dumbo!!!! Maya I think is in between them.

Delaney on Dumbo

This is Maya's face before riding the kid's rollercoaster the Goofy Barnstormer. Her face already looks a little nervous and if I could have pulled my camera out while riding it I would have taken more pictures. It was a simple rollercoaster but the poor little one was so scared. After riding it she said she didn't want to ride it any more.

Solo Barnstorming it.

Grammy and Delaney Barnstorming. I think Grammy felt the same as Maya.

Meeting Pooh and Tigger.

The Pooh ride was genius with total entertainment for the kids while the parents waited in line. I guess the Disney folks were sick of kids freaking out while waiting in line. There was also "honey" on the walls going in that you could draw on so it entertained the parents as well.

Meeting the White Rabbit.

Riding the Mad Tea Party. I love the sequence of these pics with Maya going from nervous and Grammy happy to Maya loving the ride and Grammy feeling a little squeamish.

Back at the resort again.

Please ignore my singing, but the girls were dancing to a little Sleepy Beauty during a playground break at our resort.
Heading out for our last night at Disney. :( Oh--and I forgot to  mention my big girl. Right before leaving the Magic Kingdom earlier, Maya was getting real sleepy and cranky and Delaney was still pumped up and ready to go. Randy decided to take her on Space Mountain. Grammy and I decided to take Maya back to the resort to "rest". We saw that she was just tall enough and she was so excited. She rode in the seat right in front of Randy and after a delay because the ride broke down (WHAT!!!!!) they took off. Randy said that because she was shorter than the average rider, she slid down in her seat and he couldn't see her after the ride ended. He called out her name and she didn't answer. He was a little worried she was catatonic and he said it again and then she popped up and said "THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!" That is my fearless child.

Mickey and Minnie Roberts

The line earlier in the day for the Buzz Lightyear shoot em up ride was too long so we decided to do it later. We only had to wait for 10 minutes but it was amazing. You go spinning around in these little cars that you control and shoot at Zurg and other villains. After the ride of course there was a store to go in and the girls decided to get in the cage with Zurg.

It was quite a long line to wait to see Buzz Lightyear but the girls were really excited. Delaney actually had to take a potty break while in line and we raced across Tomorrowland to get to one. It was kind of a cute moment as we super speeded it dodging it around people to get back to the Buzz line in time.

After several hugs, Buzz decided to turn Spanish.

He danced a little then got loveable and wanted kisses from the girls.

Another dance party in Tomorrowland!!!!

Maya walked right up to Stitch and demanded a dance.

Another awesome dance party with Delaney and Chip/Dale.
Delaney danced with Stitch for a long time.

Our last dinner at Tony's. It honestly wasn't the best food and sort of a bitchy waitress but we always make the most of our experience. Grammy decided to make herself Minnie Mouse.

And then Delaney did.

My sweet little Maya sucking a lemon. Loves them.

This was seriously the best vacation I have ever had with my children and one of the best vacations of my life. I will cherish it forever---or at least for the next two years until we go again. We plan to go again in September when Delaney is 7 and Maya is 5. I think those will still be magical years for them with princesses and everything. Just need to figure out how to maneuver without a stroller for them to rest in!!! Or store our stuff in. For remembering's sake, I am going to make a list of everything I can remember that we did. Go ahead and skip this part. I just want to remember it all.
