Disney Trip Day 4

We all got up early because we had a princess breakfast at the Akershus Castle in Norway at Epcot. Our travel agent recommended this because she said the Cinderella Castle one is very rushed and crowded and it takes two meal plans. She said this one is incredible and sort of a hidden treasure. Of course the girls had to dress up as princesses again so here we have little Belle and little Rapunzel.

My goodness they are too sweet.

Belle was ready to greet them at the door. The restaurant actually took a professional photograph of this moment and gave it to us at the end of our meal which was an added bonus.

The princesses parade around the restaurant with the little princesses at the princess breakfast at Akershus castle in Norway at Epcot. Best moment of whole trip. More of the adorable princesses at the princess breakfast.
Not only was it a delicious breakfast with meats and cheeses, lox and bagels, and potatoes and eggs, but the princesses walked around to all of the tables to sign books, chat, and give hugs.

Cinderella

Sleeping Beauty

The princesses did a princess procession where they walked around the restaurant and they gathered all of the little princesses and had them parade around with them. They did this twice while we were eating and on the second go round Delaney got to carry the flower basket.

Ariel

Ariel saying she liked Delaney's crown.

Maya giving Ariel a hug after saying she liked her starfish.

Chip and Dale basically came out of the bushes and kdinapped Delaney and Maya and went running off with them to a photo op spot. We didn't know what was going on at first but the girls thought they were hysterical.
Chip and Dale were very funny with the girls and did many poses which keep making the girls and us laugh.

While Grammy, Delaney, and Randy rode Soarin', which Maya couldn't ride, she and I took the opportunity to ride Living with the Land, which is a slow boat ride that talks about agriculture, etc....It isn't the most exciting of rides but my child who could have fun in a cardboard box of course loved it.

The play area in the World of Imagination was a lot of fun with these squares on the ground that lit up and played music when you stepped/jumped/danced on them.

The Imagination World had a green screen area where you could pose for pictures and they would place various cartoon characters/images in the pics with you. We did a whole Nemo theme and were tempted to buy it because it was cute but it was $25 and seemed a bit silly to put up somewhere. These pics were silly enough!

The jumping water features at Epcot were really cool. Look how no one is around. This is called September at Disney World. BEST time to go!!!!!!
Brer Bear!!! I love these characters and me and Randy and Delaney loved riding Splash Mountain at Magic Kingdom. My friend Jessica had told me before that it is impossible to find the movie the Song of the South that has all of these characters because of its "racist" theme. Whatever! It's where Zip-a-dee-doo-dah comes from and the characters are adorable!!! We asked a staff member at Epcot if you could find any Song of the South merchandise anywhere and she said only if it is affiliated with Splash Mountain but would never have Song of the South on it. This is my new mission in life.

Posing in Norway after the Seas of Norway ride

Some much needed "rest" and fun at the Fantasia pool at our resort. Maya spent most of the time walking around the little ledge that lapped the pool singing songs and basically causing people to get out of her way. It was hysterical. The pool was the ultimate party spot with a lot of people there who I think were calling it their vacation and saying whatevs to The Magic Kingdom. It truly was an awesome pool, with pool bar!!!, and resort.

I love taking black and white pics of the girls. They always look sort of artsy to me and show their beautiful features. Here is a little silly slinky play while heading back to Epcot for dinner.

A little exhausted and koo koo crowd but still happy. We sometimes drove our car to park at the parks and sometimes took the Disney transport. Both were extremely easy because once again, September is the time to go. Parking was very close to the front and there were no lines waiting on the buses.

We ate at a delicious seafood restaurant called The Coral Reef at Epcot. There was a huge aquarium surrounding the restaurant so you could look at beautiful fish/sharks/stingrays, etc...while you ate. The restaurant was inside the exhibit called The Living Seas and they had several manatee there that were rescued. That was pretty awesome to see. After a delicious, but long dinner, Randy and Grammy waited to pay for the check and I took the girls into the :"big ball" (Planet Earth) once again for the last ride of the night. Maya immediately fell asleep on my lap and Delaney smiled her way through it. Another amazing day at Disney World.
