Delaney's ballet class

Delaney has been taking ballet classes at Palmetto Performing Arts since September. Her teacher is Mrs. Betsy and she loves going to the classes and is really doing well! Her flexibility and grace is definitely improving. They are not doing a recital in May but are actually doing a ballet: "Peter Rabbit". Delaney and her friends in her class got the part of the white cats so Delaney is pretty much beside herself over that one. Usually they close the door to the class so I have no idea what is going on but this week was parent observation week.

Delaney really does a good job of following directions and wants to please her teacher. Some of the other girls don't know their left from their right and Delaney needs reminders to turn her toes out but over all it is such a cute little group dancing!!

Mrs. Betsy makes the girls hold a split for one minute one each side. Delaney has really gotten so much better with hers and it is reassuring to see the other girls are about at the same flexibility level!
