Maya dance observation, tubes, and Easter celebrations

Parent observation in Maya's tap/ballet class.
Parent observation in the tap portion of Maya's dance class. Sandy and Maya are such peas in a pod.
My little dancing goofball.

I don't think any child could possibly be cuter than my Maya Moo while she is performing her tap routine that she will be doing at her dance recital.
Here is some of the ballet part rehearsing for the dance recital in the ballet segment of Maya's dance class.
After lots of ear infections this year and a horrible night couch that just wouldn't quit, we got an ENT referrak. Dr. Vidrine basically said that Maya's ears looked like they had Smuckers Jelly in them and she failed her hearing test. We scheduled for her to get tubes in her ears and while she was out have Dr. Vidrine look to see if an adenoidectomy was necessary. I was so nervous because my baby had to go to Children's Hospital to have the procedure done and have anesthesia. Of course she handled it like a trooper and wasn't nervous at all. The staff at Children's Hospital was amazing and they made her feel very comfortable, from the child life technicians to the anesthesiologist....they all came into the room with big smiles and happy to answer any questions. Maya was pumped up about her hospital gown.

They told me she could bring her paci to make her feel comfortable and they came to get her with this little car which she loved. She didn't even turn around to say goodbye because she was having such a good time. She had the tubes placed but didn't need the adenoidectomy---yay!!!! After she woke up from the anesthesia she was groggy and complained of pain and passed up a popsicle that was given to her. After she was given the Barbie movie near the end of her visit though she was good to go!!!

When we got home she opened up her Get Well present from her BFF Sandy---an awesome drawing kit!

We took home the popsicle from the hospital and Maya thoroughly enjoyed it at home.

Nana came over to stay with my little ear munchkin so I could go to Delaney's school to participate in her egg hunt. This was the Friday before spring break and I wanted to be there and have fun with the kids.

Delaney has the cutest friends and has her arm around one of her besties--McRae.

And the race is off to find eggs!!!!

Maya finally mastered being able to ride her bike without the push handle!!!! Maybe she just needed tubes.

The girls and I went to a Hello Kitty birthday party at Be Beep toy store. It was super cute.
My silly pat-a-cakers.
The girls and I went with Grammy way out to the Farmers Market to buy some flowers. A little ice cream treat there was needed to thank them for being on such good behavior!!
