Yes---it is the weekend of birthday parties. On Sunday we had Delaney's friend Meredith's 5th birthday party at Sesqui Park. Now Meredith is Abby's big sister and Abby is Maya's BFF. Here Maya is not showing that by trying to take her juice.
Abby is saying you can't take my juice.
The stare off over the juice.
Meredith had a fabulous princess castle cake. Delaney, who is going on quite a few days without a nap, is there in body but obviously not in mind as she has to rest her head while watching the cake.
Hugs for Abby!!!
And Maya's birthday celebration continues with another new outfit and yes....the birthday crown.
Hugs for Garlic the neighborhood cat
Tried to capture the two girls together for a moment but you know how that goes....
Delaney wore her cupcake birthday dress because I wanted her to feel better that it was not her birthday. She is perseverating slightly on her birthday even though she JUST had one a couple of months ago. The birthday dress helped her feel better.
The fam came over for a birthday celebration for both Maya and Randy whose birthday is Tuesday. Like I said, nonstop birthday fun.
We had a yummy dinner of Grammy lasagne and then birthday cake leftover from Maya's party.
Opening the Barbie box from Grammy. This present was a big hit.
Maya is very excited about opening her big present from us---a Little People Disney princess castle. Side note: She has played with it EVERY day for at least an hour throughout the day. BEST PRESENT EVER!!!!
Randy's big present was a kegerator (sp?) from me. This handy device refrigerates a 5L keg of various beers including the Newcastle one I got him. He was quite happy with this gift. I think I did good. :)
The girls love them some Silly Stan and enjoyed bouncing on his lap for a while.
New birthday outfit: check. Birthday girl crown: check. Wearing of birthday crown all day: priceless.
The cake! Maya's birthday party was at the Lil' Buddies Learning Zoo which is a petting zoo in Blythewood. We did a farm theme so the cake had little farm animals on it and it turned out awesome!!!!

Before the guests arrived the girls checked out the farm and stables and befriended a little girl and a tiny black kitty.
The chickens made Maya a little nervous.
Maya made a million laps, checking out all of the animals.
I think all of the kids, and parents, loved seeing the different kinds of animals and petting them.
Maya is a little unsure about feeding the pigs at her petting zoo party.
A little duck chasing, horse petting, and rock throwing. That's my birthday girl.
Maya pets a little kitty (who is like a little Mia), sees her friend Lucy, and then a goat gets loud.
The bunnies were a big hit.
Lilly and Maya
Delaney and Morgan feeding the goats. The staff were so great with helping the kids and avoiding chaos, which is something I was concerned about with this party. I read about this zoo in a parent magazine and I actually never went there before the party, which in hindsight is a little scary. It was an amazing place thank goodness! I was a little nervous when booking the party so I asked the coordinator if two year olds would be safe. She said that none of the animals bite. I told her that I was more nervous for the animals with two year olds. :)
Maya's BFF Abby.
Lane and Abby
Keely fell in love with the little pig.
Elizabeth with Lilly
A little unsure about the goat.
Carson and Trinity with the ducks.
Cheryl with Charlie
Sandy and Jay meet the pony.
Rachel with Gibbs
Maya sits on Trey's lap
Jake and Charlie
Delaney and Morgan with Sir Lancelot, who was Randy and I's horse who pulled us away in the carriage after our wedding and Delaney's horse from the carriage ride she had at her third birthday princess party at the park. We have a soft spot for Sir Lancelot.
Nutty always gets Maya to eat at parties.
Bubba and Randy
Kelli and Carson
"I'm two!!!"
Delaney fell in love with the little black kitty. One day Delaney....one day....
A little Grammy love
Maya gets her birthday cupcake and blows out the candle.
Maya prefers the huge cake over the cupcake. Once again, that's my girl.
Leila with Sandy
Megan watches her boys and Davis and Delaney and Morgan on the trampoline.
Maya loves her some Bubba.
Delaney already had her eyes on Maya's new doll from Uncle Dave.
The girls played on a tire swing before we left the party.
Maya passed out almost immediately on the ride home---crown and all.
But of course then she got up the second we arrived home and wanted to play. No nap after that. We opened some presents---this pogo stick included---that squeaks when you jump on it. Best present ever!!!! Maya got a little overstimulated and refused to open any more presents because she had had enough. Poor little birthday girl. Too much fun. :)

Happy Birthday to my "baby" Maya Waya Roberts!!!! We love you so and this was SUCH a wonderful party!!!!! We did it again!!!
Gosh I love these twinkle girls so. Catching them singing together just makes me so happy.
