Crawfish Festival 2011

Just capturing a cute little shot of my girls before bringing them to school one morning.

Please ignore Maya's wet pants. I accidentally spilled a bottle on her before we left. Oopsie.

The annual crawfish festival is always a big hit with the Roberts. I started the morning with the 5K Crawdaddy Dash. And I don't want to brag but check this out:

What What!!! I got 2nd in my age category. YAY!!!!!!!!!!! I was zooming.

Delaney loves to give a hug to the big crawfish.

Delaney and Randy try out the little swings.

Little Maya stayed awake to see me cross the finish line but then pretty much slept through the rest of the festival.

Delaney slides on her daddy's lap on the big slide.

Delaney loved the little helicopters.

Grammy took the girls back to her house and we met up with our friends Kent, Christy, and Elizabeth. The girls took the opportunity to hug on the crawfish.

Mia loves to get in the bed with Delaney at night. This is especially sweet because if you know Mia, you know she isn't the friendliest of cats.

Mia tolerates Delaney doing anything to her and it is so sweet because Mia is so old and just loves Delaney so much. It really brings a tear to me eye to see this because I know how old Mia is. I love my sweet 'ol crotchety cat.

Our "sandbox"

The pics below show what our pool looks like right now. About a month ago we noticed the pool water was getting lower and lower but it didn't see to be pouring out anywhere. A pool company discovered a leak and said we needed a new liner. After taking out the liner, Randy had to do a lot of work to the outside of the pool, sand, etc.....When I say a lot of work I mean A LOT of work. This was unexpected financially and also for poor Randy it took up a lot of weekends. On the bright side, we will have an awesome pool for the summer.

Delaney climbed in the pool a couple of times to play with her daddy. It was like the world's largest sandbox---besides the beach that is. :)

Maya's teacher Camille likes to do the hair on all the babies. My little cutie looks adorable with her little whale spout.

Easter 2011

Delaney searches for eggs from the Easter bunny.

Delaney continues her hunt for Easter eggs.

My little speedy races around to find easter eggs from the bunny on Easter morning.

Maya hungrily eyes the basket of treats.

Finding the big baskets on the porch hand delivered by the EB.

Maya found a new little leopard in her easter basket.

Delaney eats her 45th chocolate egg while Maya is astonished about what a chocolate piggy her sister is.

Maya makes some sounds for kicks and then topples over.

Delaney got the new Crayola color bubbles in her basket. Really pretty in the air---not so pretty once they land on the clothes, ground, etc...And especially not pretty if you like to eat bubbles like my little doodlebug.

Maya is LOVING bath time. She could splash around for hours. I sometimes put the two girls in the tub together and that is so sweet until Maya splashes and Delaney gets a little peeved. I am sure there will be future pics of this event.

Maya loves her bath time.

Easter Egg Hunt at Trenholm Road Church

Poor little Maya got so tuckered out after eating she passed out holding some plastic tweezers from Delaney's vet set.

At another meal time--bright eyed and ready for some grub.

The church where the girls go to daycare was sponsoring an Easter egg hunt and invited the daycare kids.

Libbie and her sister Lucy.

Delaney loved looking for eggs and I was actually a little nervous if other kids found any. When they said "GO", Delaney took off and started grabbing eggs from everywhere and throwing them in her basket without stopping to think. She ended up with quite a few eggs. That's my girl.

Love love love this pic.

A family shot but one of us out the four of course isn't looking in both shots. Oh well.

We had a picnic afterwards and Emmi and Grammy joined us. Emmi's parents Kathleen and Chris were out of town so my mom had Emmi for the weekend. Love how Delaney is oh so ladylike in this pic

Randy and mom chowing down.

My little Easter baby.

After the hunt Delaney and I dyed some Easter Eggs at home. She got a big kick out of the different color water cups and picking what eggs should be what color.

The Therapy Place 3rd Annual Golf Tournament

My new job has a golf tournmant for a fund raiser and this was the third year. It took place at Spring Valley country club and we ended up raising $23,000!!!!!

The three therapists: Liz, me, and Lisa

Dawn and Susan, our bosses and cofounders, start off the tournament with a few words and their sons who are the inspiration for The Therapy Place, Cooper and Cameron.

Cooper says a few words before hitting the ceremonial first ball.

A parent, Nolan's mom, and Lisa man the Yaeger machine so I could take some photos. Yes--I was in charge of the alcohol table. Not really any more comments on that one.

The Therapy Place staff

Liz and Lisa try out the Jaeger.

Jill and Langley (board members and cool chicks) and the coolest chick my boss Dawn try out the Jaeger. For the fourth time...hee hee...

After manning the alcohol table, I got to drive the beverage cart around the course. Tough day at work, huh???
