TRUMPS Bike Day 2012

The daycare had their annual bike day and both girls were ready to go!!! We love watching all of the kids do laps around the parking lot for an hour. Maya was a little unsure at first...

Delaney was like little speed racer that day.

TRUMPS annual Bike Day is so much fun for all. Delaney was really looking forward to it this year with her new bike and helmet. The kids all do laps around the parking lot and they are such little speed racers. I could barely capture Delaney as she sped on by. Now this is my girl who has still been a little fearful of the bike. So proud...She is wearing the pink helmet and blue tank top if you can see the blur.... This is twenty minutes later from my first video and Delaney is still going, hasn't stopped yet, but her face is now a little red and flushed from all of the fast biking. You can see Maya at the end riding with her daddy pushing.

A little seat height adjustment.

All of the kids got popsicles to celebrate their finish.

Cold....

Is this how you do it?

Delaney and SB with their tasty treats.

That night Randy and I got an adult night when we went to see Cirque du Soleil Michael Jackson Show at the Colonial Center. It was one of the best things I have ever seen. Not only were the performers unbelieveable with their dancing and acrobatics, but their was a live band with 5 actual musicians that played with the King of Pop himself. They had video running the whole time with Michael Jackson in it and played all of his best. It was like we were seeing him in concert but with lots of pizzazz in the front. We absolutely loved it!

Princesses and Picnics

Mom, Nana, and I took Delaney to see Rumplestilskin at the Columbia Children's Theatre. It was an awesome production that was really suited for both kids and adults...thank goodness. My good friend Kim played the queen and Delaney loved getting the queen to sign her program at the end.

The two princesess bonding while watching at Grammy's.

I've got another love to dress up child.

A little freak out time before bed and lovin' on Minnie Mouse.
Just a little play time in Maya's room loving on Minnie Mouse....

...and each other.

TRUMPS has a family picnic each year during The Week of the Young Child. They couldn't do the picnic on the playground like they usually do so we all ate Chik-fil-A in the classrooms. I brought Maya down to Delaney's room and we had a chow fest there. I must say that the two small Roberts mostly ate chips and the largest female Roberts managed to eat all three helpings of nuggets. Oops!

After picking the girls up that day we had a fun trip at the park. Little Maya looks so big going down the slide in her pigtails.

Little Doodle doo on the slide.

Zoo Field Trip!

Too cool for school

I went with Maya and her class on a field trip to the zoo. Little self portrait on the bus trip there.

Maya loved the bus trip. Only she and two other friends rode the bus and the other kids' parents took them there. I hate to deny my child any opportunity for fun. Why not go on a little bus trip? We loved it.

Checking out the birds.

Look! I can fly like a bird!

My sweet little monkey...

...gives the monkey statue a "hug".

The Triple Threat---Jake, Maya, and Charlie.

I love the attempts to get a class pic.

Maya gets easily distracted by rocks.

Nice belly there Jake.
Maya loves to stop and smell the flowers.
We all decided a stroller class pic might be easier.
The hair is long enough for pigtails!!!
So fitting. "Nerd Alert". Love it.
