Morgan's Second Birthday

Our niece Morgan celebrated her second birthday on the 21st and had a party the next weekend. There was a huge inflatable slide that Davis and some other kids played on but sweet little Morgan was scared of.

Dave and the girls on the porch. Delaney is taller than Morgan now!

Delaney helps Morgan open her presents.

Morgan's big birthday present was a Barbie Beetle that you actually drove with a pedal and steering wheel. Morgan and Delaney, a.k.a. Thelma and Louise, take it for a spin.

Sorry about the bumpiness in this video. I think I was trying to avoid getting run over.

Palmetto Falls

Randy and I took Delaney, Miranda, and her friend Lauren to the water park Palmetto Falls which is at Fort Jackson. Delaney felt like such a big girl with the "big girls".

Right after this picture, Delaney reached out her hand to grab Miranda's arm. She wants to have Miranda within reach at all times.

Delaney loved the sprinkler area. She was a little hesitant at first, but then went full speed into the sprinklers and the blasts of water coming up from the ground.

Miranda hangs out in the Lazy River. Randy and I took Delaney in the lazy river---she sat in my lap in the inner tube. Randy pushed the two of us under every waterfall on the Lazy River. I kept saying, "Your daughter is in my lap! She will get mad at you!" Yeah right. Delaney loved it.

Hanging with the Fam

We had a great weekend hanging out with the fam. Unka Bob and Aunt Sue were in town and on Saturday we went to the kids festival in Five Points. I was an idiot and didn't take any pictures but we had so much fun. Everything was free!!! Miranda got a free Sno Cone and both Miranda and Delaney got caricatures made. Unka Bob liked pushing Delaney around in her stroller.

Everyone came over for swimming and Chinese food on Sunday. Unka Bob and Nana pose for the camera.

Delaney loves some Unka Bob. And I promise that Aunt Sue was there. I hate that I didn't get any pictures of her.

Delaney gets some Nana time before she goes to bed.

I had to throw this picture in. Randy and I opened up a toy that Nutty gave Delaney before she was even born---her Bob the Builder tool belt. Delaney LOVED it! She wasn't too fond of the hard hat that came with it, but she enjoyed the nice French bonnet with her tools instead. She was cracking us up with her attire.

The zoo...again!!!!

Randy, Delaney, Miranda and I went to the zoo. We had so much fun!

Miranda shows off her climbing skills on the tree and the rock wall. She truly is part monkey.

Yes---we are at Riverbanks Zoo---home of elephants, zebras, and other fascinating animals. What do we video tape? A squirrel. But he was entertaining.

The girls rode on the carousel. It was the world's fastest carousel. I was a little scared at first but Delaney loved it.

Delaney instantly holds Miranda's hand the second she sees her. It is so cute. "Na-nan-da"

Miranda: "This is how you milk a cow Delaney."

Delaney: "Do what??"

Up close and personal with the giraffe.

Delaney sticks her entire hand in the giraffe's mouth. The child has no fear.

Vacation always has to come to an end

These last beach pictures aren't great but I forgot to bring my camera to the beach and we had to use Trey's phone. This was an absolutely amazing vacation that we will never forget. It was magical and wonderful and so perfect.

We were thinking Delaney would have a hard time adjusting to walking when we got home because of the hardwood floors. We were wrong.........

Delaney went from walking to running in 3 days. And she still loves to play "Come and Get Me" but she is much faster now.

Beach continued.....

Everyone with their designated seats on the beach.

Delaney loves it that now she can run around and loves it more that she can now run around naked. What a cute little bum.

Delaney couldn't quite grasp the concept that she could pull her wagon on the beach. Instead, she pushed it and looked like one of those StrongMan competitions.

I absolutely love this picture. My two loves on the beach together playing.

Capturing moments like this is priceless. I love that Delaney has such a cute daddy.

Delaney got all dressed up for our dinner out in Edisto. She decided to read a bit before we left.

And play with some toys....

All of us went to this restaurant Whaley's that was fabulous. Fried seafood and ice cold beer. We loved it! Oh--and look at those blue eyes in this outfit. She is so pretty.

Kelli and Trey do some smoochin on the porch at the beach house.

We love the beach

My little sand castle creation

Trey and Kelli came to the beach Friday afternoon to spend the weekend with us there. Sorry I didn't capture any photos of them today---Delaney was too much of a super star at the beach!

Delaney loved her new little mushroom baby pool. I think it looks like something out of Super Mario World.

My new little walker loved being able to stroll around on the beach.
