The 3's Circus at SUMPK.

Maya's preschool does the most fabulous and hysterical circus with all of the threes' classes each year. All of the kids get to pick what they want to be and Maya chose an elephant. My sweet baby couldn't see well past her big ears but she was the cutest elephant ever! Here is the procession.
Maya's preschool has an annual tradition of the 3's classes putting on a circus. The individual kids in each class sign up for what they want to do (dancer, strongman, lion, clown, elephant, and cowboy) and then they have their parts. Maya chose elephant. I had no idea what I was in for but it was truly the cutest thing ever! Her preschool really goes all out for events. Here is Maya from a distance heading over to the side of the gym waiting in line for the elephant show to go on.

Maya's friend Evie is so shy and didn't want her mom taking pictures. I told Shannon I would but didn't get any of Evie looking up.

Here come the elephants!!! Maya's ears were a little big for her. My sweet little Dumbo.

Maya was so happy and just waving at everyone.

All of the kids lined up.

The clowns

My friend Leila and Maya's BFF Sandy was a dancer.

Still trying to get pics of sweet Evie.

SUMPS 3's circus---Maya in her elephant act. I love how they actually get on the boxes to do elephant tricks. And the holding each other's tail thing was just heart melting.
The elephants actually did little tricks on their boxes. It was too sweet.

The strongmen were hysterical with muscle shirts and barbells with balloons. They really played their parts.

The clowns did another round because they were so hysterical.

My sweet elephant in her classroom.

That night we went bowling with Shannon and David and their kids James Ryan, Evie, and Halden. It was a bit chaotic with the younger kids but we still managed to have great fun. The bowling alley turned off the lights at 6 and made it disco bowling which made it a little hard to find the kids.

Snowpocalypse Part 1

Apparently this is what Randy and I do when my mom has the girls for the night. Put on old tunes and I sing horribly to them. We like to drink wine and be silly. Love. Delaney learning to ride her bike without training wheels. She is doing really well!!
Riding bike for first time without training wheels.

God that smile is priceless.

And we jump ahead to only a couple of days later with Snowpocalypse Part 1. Big snowstorm hit the South and they ended up shutting school down a bit prematurely on a Tuesday. That night the snow hit and this is what we woke up to the next morning. Thankfully they had closed the schools though I guess because Atlanta was wishy washy and ended up with a big cluster on their hands of buses not going, backed up interstates, and kids eventually having to sleep at school. The girls were so excited about the big snowstorm and we loved being able to play in it.

Maya's favorite thing to do was eat the snow. I just kept making her snowballs and let her walk around eating them.

A little sledding down on the hill near their old preschool.
Sledding down the mini hill.

We wandered down to our friend Shannon and David's house. They have three kids, James Ryan, also in kindergarten at Brennen, Evie, in Maya's class at Shandon, and Halden who is 2. All of the kids are friends and we love their parents and they live two blocks away so it is perfect! Here is little Evie in front.

Playing in Shannon and David's big back yard.

Silly snow faces

Didn't capture pics from rest of week but the girls ended up being out of school Wednesday and went in late both Thursday and Friday. Thursday was understandable with bad ice in the morning but Friday? Gorgeous. Poor 'ol SC just can't handle winter weather patterns.
