The Toothless Wonder

And she finally lost a tooth!!! Can't say it has helped the Pelion look. :)

And an hour later and daddy's help and they're both gone. She looks like such a big girl.

Randy and I wanted to do something lowkey and cheap to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary so we spent the weekend at our friend Lynn and Jean's house. This was the house where I lived one summer when Randy and I first met and I believe our romance was kindled. The girls and Grammy spend the morning with us fishing and swimming and then our friends Scott and Raven brought their kids Sally and Jake for the afternoon. Delaney went to go spend the night with Sally and Grammy took Maya so Randy and I grilled out and just spent the entire time outside. It was lovely.

And the nature girl found a snail!!!

A little Lizard's Thicket for lunch outside.

Because our pool was sadly a green color, Mr. Greg came out to our new house for swim lessons for Maya and Sarah Beth and Lilly. Maya had her best lesson ever!

She jumped in...

...and even went underwater!!

Mom bought the girls new movie star costumes.

Eating out with Nana at 77. These guy in the black shirt behind us had a shirt on that said "Never Nanners".

Dress like a movie star day at Camp Hawk Ridge. Princesses are movie stars right???

AC Flora Cheer Clinic!!!

We basically raced back in town from the beach, brought the girls to Grammys, and went to see Evil Dead: The Musical at Trustus with Jessica, Scott, and Chandler. It was incredibly awesome. Great actors and hilarious songs with blood squirting out onto the audience. My kind of show.

This week was AC Flora High School Cheerleading Clinic week and also the week of Libbie. Libbie and Delaney have been friends since they were three months old and we are good friends with her parents Caitlin and Fred. Randy picked the girls up each day from Cheer Clinic and then all three girls played at the house during the afternoon. Libbie is definitely a firecracker.  There were several very memorable quotes from the week: 1) "Why do adults even talk to each other? Ya'll are so boring. 2) While Randy buckling her into car: R: Why are you holding your nose Libbie? L: "Because you stink."  3) While looking at Disney calendar: "You know that those characters at Disney are all fake? They are just dressed in costumes."
I had to stop the conversation with that one. Don't mess up my girls dreams Libbie!!! No---she was very sweet she is just hysterical. And a handful. :)

The girls found a little frog swimming, or really drowning, in the pool and saved him.

Second day of cheer clinic!!!!

More swimming time with Libbie.

And the snaggle tooth continues.

Zombie???

I took the girls to 32 degrees for a little treat. Has Libbie had frozen yogurt before?

A trip to the park to get some of that sugar out.

Third day of cheer cliinc!!

My precious snaggle tooth on the last day of cheer clinic.

The cheer clinic had a performance on the last day. Here is Maya in the fours group. She is wearing the little blue skirt--third girl in the line.

Here is Delaney in the 6's. She is wearing a blue skirt.

Delaney was so excited about the performance.

There were so many little girls there!!!
Maya's 4 year old group does their cheer. Little Maya didn't participate in this one but stood and had her tongue out. Maya participated in this one---second from left. Tongue out but dancing. :)
Delaney's group during the performance.
Delaney is in the middle in the back row. She is super enthusiastic and did a great job. Future cheerleader? Delaney is in far right of screen most of the time. Super enthusiastic and dancing her heart out. I pan over to Maya who gets into the Happy song but unfortunately is far away and hard to see. Little blue skirt. She picks something off the floor at some point. The girls LOVED this cheer clinic!
My two little cheerleaders after the big show. Delaney had candy in her mouth---hence the weird faces.

So many of their friends were at the clinic this week which made for even a better time. Lilly and Sarah Beth were there.

And of course Sally!!
