Happy Halloween and stuff!!!!

Wanting to capture my nineteen year old Mia because feeling sentimental and wanting the girls to remember her. Whiny meow and all. :)

The girls jam out music video style to our little Halloween friend.

My birthday week just luckily happened to fall on the same week as my girls night. We went to M Grille, and the food was weird but we had lots of beverages and because the service was horrible they brought us free extra wine and some Godiva chocolate cake. I hope to have bad service everywhere to have these treats instead!

Maya is so cute at Delaney's soccer games playing with the other 4 year old siblings. I just bring a box of My Little Ponies and other small things and the kids just play for hours. Even cute little Davis, the only boy, joins in the fun.

Delaney showing off her new Halloween fairy costume. I had originally gotten in touch with an artist I met at a festival in town to make the girls' costumes. She makes her own tutu dresses and because Maya wanted to be a ghost I was struggling finding a pre-made costume. Delaney wanted to be a fairy so I got in touch with this lady and she said she would make them. Well after a month of struggling with communication with this lady and getting frustrated Randy finally met up with her to get them. Well he didn't pay a lot of attention and when I looked at them Delaney's was the size of a six month old and Maya's was huge and somewhat tacky. Luckily she let me return them to her, and that was a struggle in itself, but then I was still left with no costumes for the girls!! Thank God for Party City having this adorable fairy costume and I ended up being crafty and making Maya's ghost. It turned our awesome if I do say so myself.

Delaney, as a fairy, plays Let it Go on the Melodica.

Delaney went to a friend's rock star birthday party and she dressed the part.

She even borrowed my rhinestone earrings but unfortunately only left with one. Why do I trust my child?

Oh----the frog saga. Our sweet somewhat "new" frog Betty died. This was the first time I was honest with the girls about a death of one of our frogs so we decided to put her in a box and bury her.

This is just too sad.

We had a little funeral and we didn't have a grave marker for the gravesite in the backyard so we decided on a disco ball. Yep....that's how we roll.

The girls and I buried our frog Betty today. Little did they know how many frogs had come before. So many. We marked the grave with a disco ball.

My KC Royals made it to the World Series!!!!!!!! Ann sent me this fabulous t-shirt and I wore it for Game 1. More on this later.....

Twinkie little Halloween girls at the doctor's office. It was Maya's four year old check up with new pediatrician Dr. Bartlett who was great! (Dr. Moore old pediatrician retired) and Delaney had been coughing for weeks. Poor Delaney because I thought it was just a little cold and it turned out to be walking pneumonia. I felt pretty awful after that diagnosis.

Annual visit to the Trenholm Road pumpkin patch!!

Kel-Z, Rick, and Jackson came to town and we took them to the Scarecrows in the Garden exhibit at the Hampton Preston mansion that is becoming an annual tradition for our family. Here is Delaney with Harry Potter.

The kids and Ninja Turtles

The girls and Waldo

These two are so identical it is scary.

My sweet happy ghost and fairy. We are getting ready to head out for Boo at the Zoo!

I can't remember what Jackson was but I think Power Ranger? Boys costumes are confusing....

Maya will carry an apple around for hours.

Nervous on carousel....

Happy on carousel....

Jammin' at Boo at the Zoo

My dancing girls...

Delaney and Jackson loved Frankenstein's foam castle.

Maya wouldn't get within ten feet of the foam.

Scary!!!!!!

Our annual princess and witch pumpkins.

Randy took over the carving this year.

Yucky pumpkin hands.

And thank goodness he took over the carving! He made this great vampire pumpkin that is eating one of the pumpkins that the girls and I painted last week. Oh no!

Party at the Little Gym where Delaney takes gymnastics. We love that place!

Flipping Delaney

Hanging upside down monkey Maya

Our pumpkins plus the addition of zombie Merle to the front porch. He usually sits out back.

Peppa Pig and Tinkerbell

The girls sent a message to their daddy while he was playing tennis one night.

And she's lost another tooth!!!!! Bottom right hand side. This girl needs a milkshake!!

Okay---well I had a strategy and idea that whenever I was wearing the t-shirt the Royals were winning their games in the World Series. I went for a two day stretch near the end, the last two games, where I didn't take it off for two days---even with sleeping and playing tennis...because that's what baseball players do, right? Have crazy and ridiculous superstitions? Well---it worked for a couple of days and then they ended up losing at the end. Still proud of my KC Royals boys in blue. I know my daddy was proud of them this year. :)

The girls show off their hula hooping skills. Maya has mastered her jumping trick.

It's almost Halloween! Maya with her cute outfit on with Halloween leg warmers brought hula hoops to school for "H" show and tell. Apparently she put on quite a show too!!!

Happy Halloween from mommy's little ghostie.

My little ghostie says Happy Halloween!

Maya with some of her class friends.

Now on to the next school! Delaney had a Halloween party and of course I couldn't miss that. They were playing pass the pumpkin and all wearing their team spirit shirts.

Here is the fabulous Mrs, Neely!

Delaney's Halloween project about trick or treating and being a beautiful fairy.

Kitty and Ghost

The Gramster witch arrives to hang out and then distribute candy at our house while we are trick or treating.

The girls and daddy's legs.

Ahhhh! Where is Daddy? Behind the hanging dead man? AAAHHHH!!!!

Our friend and neighbor Scott is creepy.

Creepy and creepier.

We love our neighborhood party down the street with all of the kids. Our friends the Virtues across the street neighbors used to throw the party but when they moved they basically made the new owner keep the party up. It is a girl in her twenties with no kids but she loves doing the party because all of us supply the food and alcohol and she just supplies the yard. Perfect!!!!

Vampire teeth....

....that are purple mommy!!!!

This neighbor is Olaf. Awesome.

We have a neighbor that does over the top and extravagant Halloween themes at his house/yard every year. This year was Phantom of the Opera and he dressed the part.

Liz and baby Marshall were in the neighborhood celebrating. Sweet little Marshall was allowing his mommy to have a glass of wine.

Ghostie turned werewolf!!

Fairy turned werewolf trying to scare sister!!

My buddy Shannon. What a super duper fun Halloween!!!
