Happy 2nd Birthday Maya!!!

Maya is not too happy about her family waking her up to sing happy birthday.

Washing her hands in class has become a favorite pasttime.

I brought cupcakes for Maya's class for their afternoon snack. Maya was quite happy about it---and I can't believe she wore her headband all day!

Maya's friends sing her happy birthday before getting her cupcake at school.

Delaney can never miss an opportunity for a cupcake.

Maya said she was done with her cupcake and left the table and then I found her crouching on the floor finishing it. Did she think we were going to take it from her??

It was a beautiful birthday so me and the girls played outside when we got home.

Even though Delaney's eyes are closed I still think these are beautiful pictures. She mostly refuses to have her picture taken which drives me crazy. She is so beautiful and I hate that she doesn't want to sit and smile for a picture.

Because we were having spaghetti for dinner and it was messy the girls stripped down to diapers and underwear for dinner so their pretty dresses wouldn't be messed up.

Maya gets the happy birthday song again and yet another cupcake. She sort of zones out before eating the cupcake, possibly due to the overwhelmingness of turning two.

Maya opens her big present from Nana which was an American Girl Bitty Baby. Delaney got one two years ago and it was a huge hit so now Maya has her own. The problem is: Delaney's is named Bitty and Maya wants hers to be named Bitty. Bitty 1 and Bitty 2.

Delaney brought down her Bitty because Nana bought her a beautiful outfit.
