Lizards and Jackson

Delaney and her little lizard friend that she found in the back yard. She named him and basically played with him for about an hour. Delaney has returned to her "Delaney the Nature Girl" self that she was like when she was about 2. She went through a bad stage at age 3 where she was stomping on little creatures and it was a little scary. So happy my animal loving daughter has returned.

Delaney plays with a little lizard that she found in the back yard. She is "Delaney the Nature Girl" and loves all little animals. She played with this little fella for about an hour.
Kel-Z, Rick, and Jackson stayed with us for the weekend because they had a wedding to go to where Jackson was the ring bearer. This is the only pic I got of how handsome he was in his tux. (And after looking at the pics from the weekend I realized I have none of Kel-Z and Rick. I think that's what happens after having kids---us poor adults are always behind the camera and never in front. Sorry friends!)

Delaney was in hog heaven with Jackson there and the two of them played for hours.

We did fireworks on Saturday night upon request of Delaney. She loves those things. Jackson wore Randy's hat almost the entire weekend.

Tyson would jump in the pool with every pop from the fireworks. It made us hysterically laugh.

Jackson's reward for doing a great job in the wedding was a zoo trip on  Sunday.

Maya loved the vulture. ???

Seriously....how cute is this???

The ostrich was a little close that day.

Jackson had a nice moment with the lorikeets until one of them nibbled at him.

Delaney had NO fear of the lorikeets and here is Randy feeding one that landed on her head. Once again---Delaney the Nature Girl.

Feeding the giraffe is always fun.

Maya was a little more fascinated with Jackson than the alligator in front of her.

I love little conversations with my munchkin. She basically does a running commentary on life from the moment she gets up until they time she goes to sleep.
