2014 Junior Carolina Girls Dance Clinic

I signed up Delaney for the USC Junior Carolina Girls dance clinic. The girls met with the Carolina Girls dance team and learned a routine all day, with several breaks, and  then performed the routine to Katy Perry's "Roar" at the halftime show at the USC men's basketball game against Kentucky. Delaney, of course, made friends immediately.

The five and six year olds had their own group with their own Carolina Girls dancers to help them.

They had to wear their Junior Carolina Girls t-shirt and black skirt or pants at the performance. Delaney opted for a black tutu.

Maya was ready for the game too.

Heading off in a little row for the big performance.

Fuzzy shot but above the man's head is my little doodle bug headed onto the court for the halftime show.

Delaney didn't appear nervous at all. I was so proud of her.

There were so many large headed jackasses in front that they really interfered with my photography and videography skills trying to capture Delaney's big day. I did what I could.

Posing after the performance.
Delaney did an all day dance clinic with the Gamecock Girls and at the end of the night got to perform in the halftime show at the USC Men's basketball team game versus Kentucky. It was awesome! They danced to "Roar" which made it even better. Damn whack a mole guy in front of me sucked though. Here is the video the Carolina Girls provided from the halftime show. Very blurry but oh well. Delaney is in the second row of little girls----at the bottom of the "C" on the court near the Gamecock's tail.
Shots a little out of order because of camera/phone pics but here is the doodle headed to the clinic in the morning.

Learning their routine.

Maya and I caught the end of their practice when we went to pick Delaney up.

The real Carolina Girls doing their thing.

All of the girls got Carolina Girls posters and the dancers signed them.

After the performance Delaney was so happy and ready to watch some basketball.

Eating some fries and watching the game. I was very impressed with both of my girls during the game. They loved it!

Me and my mini-me being silly together. That is Aunt Maxie in the background who came for the big show with her boyfriend Ryan.

Score Gamecocks 50 and Kentucky at this point. This is a rarity for the Gamecocks basketball team. They are not known for winning.

Gamecock win!!!!!!!!! It was pretty amazing and the fans stormed the court.
