Soccer and Fall Festival

Out with the frogs---in with the fish. Please welcome Betty (white fat fish on the left barely pictured) and Tux--our two new guppies.

This is how my girls dress for Election Day. May the best man/woman win!! (They didn't by the way)

We even get accessorized while shopping at Target!

Delaney and some of her Mighty Kids teammates (Caroline, Merritt, Laura, and Sally) getting ready for picture day.

Maya on the field!!! She certainly wins for enthusiasm but really doesn't kick the ball much, if at all. But she runs with the team and truly loves it!

Ball contact!!!!

And my little soccer star Laney Loo. Looking back at this season she was sick for most of October-December---diagnosed with walking pneumonia in December and sinus infection in December. The poor dear just coughed and sniffed for months. Point of my sidebar: she hung on like a trooper through all of her activities---especially soccer. She played awesome! I can't wait to see how she does when she is fully healthy!

Snacking it up at her sisters game.

The Brennen Fall Festival was the same day as soccer so we raced over there for the fun. It is an awesome event with tons of games for the kids, bouncy castles, pony rides, food, and TONS of desserts baked by the parents because the PTO at Brennen is pretty extraordinary. The girls loved it last year and of course were super excited about this year.

Laura and Delaney

A little Maya dancing at the Brennen Fall Festival.

A little face painting butterfly.

A little face painting...uh...creepy spider.

Kiss the Pig!!! All of the teachers at Brennen had a piggy bank in the cafeteria and the kids could put money in it each day. The two teachers who raised the most money would have to kiss the pig at the Fall Festival. Delaney's kindergarten teacher and now my dear friend Kelly Painter was one of the teachers. She was hysterical!! She had said at the soccer game that morning that if someone scored a next goal she would kiss the pig twice. Well our Mighty Kicks soccer game won their game so Kelly kissed that pig twice.

D on the pony

M on the pony

Playing a little rubber chicken toss

Playing a little golf

Look at these faces. Unfortunately we are seeing this one on D more often. 6 going on 16.

These boys were hanging out in the hay wagon jamming out to music and singing along. It was hysterical. Delaney, tom boy that she is, had to join in the fun.

Ummmm....not sure on this one.
