Bugs, Lions, and Grandparents..oh my!!

We mess with this sweet child so much. She truly is hysterical.

The bug exhibit at the State Museum was awesome!!

At an exhibit at the State Museum, a little T-swizzle was playing so of course Maya had to dance.

Our friend and neighbor Scott was going to a costume party and he came over to see the girls dressed as the cowardly lion.

These boots right here were made for Maya when she was a baby by her infant teacher Camille. They were too big for her at the time so Delaney faithfully wore them for two years until they were pinching her toes. Maya did the same thing at age 2 and now at 4 is still squeezing her little tootsies into the boots. A sad day has come to the Roberts house because the boots need to go bye-bye. Grammy----boot alert for Maya!!!!!

This is our neighborhood cat Garlic, owned by Betty and Jack two houses down. Garlic has been a staple since we moved here 3 1/2 years ago and the girls love him dearly. He has become quite weak over the past month and looks skinny. We have been putting food and water out and a little bed on our porch. Garlic also wants to come inside a lot so we have been allowing him to and he took the opportunity one day to crawl on my lap while I was trying to do work at the computer. I snuggled with him instead. He is an old but sweet kitty.

Grandparents Day at Brennen. They had cute activities involving asking grandparents questions and doing art projects together. Delaney was so excited to have her Grammy there.

And the busy day continues to
Grandparents Day at Shandon United Methodist. There were lovely snacks followed by a performance by the children. Maya actually participated this year!

Maya sings and entertains with the 3's, 4's, and 5's classes at Shandon United Methodist Preschool on Grandparents Day.

Grammy with Maya in her classroom.
