Beach Vacation Day 3

Maya loving playing in the sand again. She continues to be a little unsure of the ocean so thank goodness she could seriously sit in the sand and play all day!

Delaney went with The Crosbys to the pool so Randy and I enjoyed a little Maya time. The little puddle stomper was very happy.

Using the self timer to capture a 75% family picture.

Building a tunnel from sand.

We headed to Garden City to go to the arcade. Maya and I won some candy from machine and Maya loved the peppermint.

Enjoying the tacky Eagles at Garden City. As you see Drew found the "Boobs Rock" mug. He did not end up with it as his souvenir....

....and neither did Randy.

Last year at Garden City we went to a great homemade ice cream parlor so of course we had to go there again this year.

For some reason Queen Cranky Pants got in a little funk after the ice cream....possibly due to staying up later at night and not really resting at all so far this vacation. She positioned herself up against a convenience store and Randy and I got a big kick out of the 99 cents sign just pointing right at her. We kept trying to get the pic just right. "Perfection". Hee hee.

A little bonding.

Randy caught a crab in the pond behind our condo.

If it is under 80 degrees Delaney is a little cold. Like mommy like daughter.

Another Roberts girl falls victim to the overtiredness and pitches quite a fit on the couch.

Nothing a little "chloc-late" popsicle won't fix.

This pic just looks like Parenting Fail 101. Ice cream cones with pissy faces (at least on mine) and crack devices (a.k.a. cell phones) in hands. The Crosby kids definitely watch and play a lot more technological devices than my kids and sometimes during the vacation I felt like ogre mom telling Delaney she couldn't watch. I just stand my ground on that one....and Delaney was a little cranky about it during the trip but now that we are home again she is perfectly fine with her usual schedule of playing with normal toys that don't beep at you.

Maya and her daddy entertain each other with a little silly ball game.
