Ski Trip 2015

The younger ladies in the back of the car heading to the mountains. And I say younger since Nana is in the front.

Everyone getting settled in for our long trip to Sugar Mountain.

We found a fabulous cabin close to the ski resort and this was our view. Aaaahhhhh.

It was a little cold.

Delaney actually had a fever that morning before we left so I raced her to the doctor. It was just a sinus infection but honestly the poor boo really didn't feel great the entire time we were there. She was a trooper though!!!

Lovely hat Randy found in our cabin. Ahhhh...the simpler times.

Maya throwing snowballs at the window from our deck.

It's a gorgeous day on the slopes!!!

Maya is pumped up initially about her ski boots but then later she said they hurt. They hurt us all sweetheart!

Me and Maya on the ski lift. Yes---she looks nervous but she did awesome!!!

Delaney had little periods of crankiness on our ski day. I am blaming it on the fact she had been sick---not that she can be a pill sometimes.

Mommy!!!!!!!

I'm better.

Maya riding up the bunny slope lift. She loved this part.

Lunch at the not really edible cafeteria at Sugar Mountain.

My snow boarding doodle bug.

Grammy is always such a trooper on these trips.

Even while eating inedible food in a really crowded cafeteria.

Delaney is getting it!!! After a little complaining. :)

It's slow and sideways but she's doing it!!

Eating the snow and loving skiing.

The day was getting long at this point.

But then there's my sweet girl.

Snow angels at the end of our ski day was awesome.

A little snuggle in our cabin after a cold day.

Ninja skiier!

It was bitterly cold and almost a blizzard when we set out for snow tubing. But the Roberts are determined!!!!!

Snow tubing was sooo much fun---even in the super cold and wind. We only made it down three times because it was so cold but worth it!!

Hot chocolate is perfect after a cold tubing day.

Delaney---this is how we all feel after tubing.

It was a wonderful ski vacation. I am so glad mom and Nana went with us and we had such a wonderful time. We had a delicious dinner out Friday night and the girls really got to enjoy the slopes. We didn't realize Presidents Day weekend (was that the Monday holiday---think so) would be so crowded so that was the only bummer. The slopes were very crowded. But it was still great fun!!! The girls loved it and have already requested going again. Except now Delaney wants to ski and Maya wants to snowboard. Which is what I tried to get them to do in the first place. But Randy wanted Delaney on a snowboard. I tried not to say I told you so.......:)
