Easter and Passover---the cluster of holidays. :))

Easter egg dying time! We found a circus set and it was perfect since we had just gone to the circus.

Our circus eggs!!!

Our friends the Virtues down the street had an Easter Egg hunt in their backyard for friends. It was a beautiful day!

Maya and her boyfriend Zeke.

The girls are hunting and on the move!

For some reason Maya does not look happy with her treats.

The weekend of mixed religion holidays has begun!!! My uncle Jordan and his wife Sarah and daughter Gigi drove all the way from Philly to spend Passover with us. Gigi immediately bonded with the girls (she hasn't been here since she was a wee baby) and they read books together. It was super cute.

Passover is super exciting. Nutty has lots and lots of people, mostly non-Jewish, to the old temple which is now the Unitarian Universalist Church. There is plenty of space for all of us and much better than her backyard where she used to have it. Sorry Nutty,

Gigi up to something.

Oh---just wanting to write a donation to the church.

Everyone listening intently.

Nutty--the fearless leader.

Homemade napkins courtesy of my mother.

I don't think Maya and Emmi are sleeping.

Nutty sings the prayer some ol crazy way and the girls who have been practicing for weeks get confused. Poor Maya leaves the scene but Delaney does well when I help her sing the prayer.

Mom's favorite part is acting out the plagues.

Darkness is a good one.

The kids ready to find the Affikoman.

Gigi loves some books.

The song never gets old around here. Playing it for Gigi today.

Gigi was quite the personality at our lunch the next day.

A trip to the zoo!

Delaney wanted to check out the herb garden?

Always an ice cream face on this one.

Wanting to jump in to see the giant tortoises. These two are two years apart but because Maya is so little and Gigi is so big they are practically the same size.

Jordan bonding with the tortoise.

Um....yeah.

Delaney on the rock wall.

Carousel time

Playing at the house.

A note to welcome our next holiday friend coming on Easter which is tomorrow.

Scaling the wall.

These bathtub pics are the cutest. And I love Gigi's lollipo.

Watching a little movie in the doggie beds.

The Easter bunny came!!!!

Are those bunny steps going up the slide? The girls baskets were all on top.

Heading up the bunny paw print slide to get their baskets.

Matching Easter dresses from the Gram. She said she didn't realize they were Easter. There were bunnies and chicks all over them. Yep.

A little trip to the park.

I just downloaded Delaney's camera pics so there will occasionally be a random pic taken, usually very close.

Jordan, Sarah, and Gigi had to leave early on Easter. I so wish they lived closer. They are so special to us and I love them all dearly. They sent this pic of Gigi enjoying her Easter basket treats on their long trip home.
