Last Field Trip and Last Day of Kindergarten :(

Delaney was having her first sleepover at a friend's house (Libbie) and she got so excited she had to write about it on her dry erase board. It is upside down but it says "Happy Sleepover night".

I took the girls to see their friends Sarah Beth and Lilly in their dance performance at USC in Peter and the Wolf. Sarah Beth was a frog.

Lilly was a duck.

Getting MAya in the pool sometimes takes an act of Congress.
Some smooches with daddy while swimming.

Cute pics of our pooches. Sweet Olive is looking old but she is only 8.

Sweet and smelly Tyson.

Sandy came over to swim. Seeing how well Sandy did in the pool really helped Maya!

Happy Memorial Day! Delaney actually had school that day and Maya and I went to pick her up. Out of 27 kids in Delaney's class there were 4 students that day. I was feeling kind of guilty for sending her but Kelly Painter told me the kids had an absolute blast and she got lots of things done. ;)

Last kindergarten field trip to Heathwood Park! Delaney and her friend Lindy.

Evie and Maya act like monkeys.

Throw in Evie's little sister Halden.

All of Delaney's close friends minus Delaney. Sally, McRae, Lesesne, Merritt, and Kate.

Getting ready for pizza with Merritt, Delaney, Dacari, and Will.

Pizza at the park!

Caught Randy with some. :)

After a little break with Delaney returning to school and Maya and I going home briefly, there was an ice cream party at school!
Delaney receiving her "Whopper" award for the best storytelling. Every kid in class got different candy award. Should I be happy about storytelling or worried?
All of the kids in the class got different candy awards. It was really creative, like Twizzlers for the kid (Khamari) who always has his shoes untied. Delaney got the Whoppers award for the best storytelling. Do you think that is because she is creative with her stories or she fibs a little bit??

The whole class---plus a little Maya in the front.

Maya was removed by her mommy so this is a true picture of the class. Will miss seeing these kids all the time and hoping a good number of them are with Delaney in her first grade class!

Silly goofballs

The girls sang a little high initially but then brought it down a bit to do our little Let it Go number. My playing is a bit rusty but we all love jamming out regardless.
Naked swimming with a fussy Maya.

And still fussy.

My baby girl on her last day of kindergarten. Good gracious this year has flown by. I know people always say that it really does but this year has been faster than all the rest. Of course I have cherished every year of my girls' life but now that they are getting "older" it just zooms by and I want to cherish every second.

Delaney wanted to say this little message to her teachers on her last day of kindergarten.
Mrs. Painter sent me this. I had basically just stopped crying and then this happened.

Maya and her adorable dance teacher Ms. Ainsley. Ainsley was a high school senior and won Miss Spring Valley and entered Miss South Carolina Pageant and was a great dance teacher! I can't believe she did all that and was 18. Maya just loves her.
